Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Kingdom- as most reviews state, the shower is not good at all. You have to hold it yourself and it soaks the entire bathroom due to their being no curtain/screen (no matter how careful you try to be) and the shower drains slowly so end up standing in a puddle - slightly dated - no kettle - slow Wi-Fi - bed above light didn’t work
- perfect location (less than 5 min walk to beach/bus stop/shops/restaurants) - felt very safe - cleaned the room each day (sheets/bins but not towels) - bottle of water was provided in the fridge - basic but had most things you would need - good size balcony - Agios Prokopios is a wonderful place in general for relaxing and meeting locals

It's a very simple and a bit old room, but quite nice and confortable. Very clean and cleaned every day, we appreciated this very much. It is also perfectly situated close to the beach and everything you might need, but not in a noisy area.

AustraliaBest room to stay in on Naxos. It was a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful room with a very caring host. It had a lovely balcony to enjoy a wine and takeout food plus hang clothes up. Also has a parking lot should you book one from the port. It is about 20m away from the beaches and town which has amazing restaurants, ATM, rental car and laundry.

CanadaWifi was spotty the second you turned the corner to the bedroom. It wasn't a bug deal for us but it could be for others. It's nothing an extra few repeaters can't fix.
Location was great, a straight line from the property to the beach and the bus station. The bed was comfy and the AC was strong and worked fast. The kitchenette was more than adequate for our needs. The bathroom shower was the usual tiny enclosure where the water gets everywhere if you're not careful, but that's pretty standard for the islands.

PolandIt’s a fantastic place. The host is so sweet and helpful - we even could check out later with no additional charge. Everything works perfect, there is A/C, the place is 1-2 minutes walk from the beach and is really cheap for what it offers. It’s simple but clean, with a nice balcony and a view on grape and pomegranate trees. We really enjoyed our stay.

United Kingdomoverall the property is just old. it needs a big renovation. all furniture was outdated. very random and mismatched crockery and cutlery. very old hot plate. also the electricity couldn’t handle the power of the aircon, so every so often it would surge and dip.
staff come in daily to clean up, location was amazing. very close to beach, supermarket and Main Street. came with a terrace that we ate all our meals on.

United KingdomThere was lots of noise from other rooms, mainly in the morning, like moving furniture and people talking. Also the shower head gave me an electric shock when I held it.
The location was brilliant, the beaches are right on your doorstep, there was a big fridge so we stored lots of water and food in there. The room and balcony were lovely. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The wifi was good for the majority but it did cut out a few times.

United KingdomCould do with some shelter on very exposed balcony. Towels were very rough texture. Basic shower/bathroom - would benefit from shelving to store products & hooks for towel etc. Only one mains socket in bedroom. We were on the top floor so quite a lot of stairs to ascend with heavy luggage.
Location - wry near town, beach, bus stop. Excellent efficient A/C which was a blessing. Very quiet at all times although vy near the hub of town.

South AfricaWiFi was very slow and intermittent, had to find the hosts to reboot the router a few times. On arrival the toilet seat was broken, the curtain was hanging off the rail and the tv was not working. There was also no plug for either the bathroom or the kitchen sink. To be fair to the hosts, the next morning another tv was installed, a new toilet seat was provided, the curtain was fixed and the hosts loaned us a plastic basin in which to do our washing. The crockery is old, mismatched and some of it is stained. It all needs renewing. The room was inexpensive but to be honest the price matched what the room was worth.
Good location, about 150m from the sea, near restaurants and shops. Asked for a late checkout and our request was readily accepted.

United KingdomI want to be as real as possible. You aren’t going to get anything luxury for this price. What you will get is a friendly host, clean accommodation and also a brilliant location. FYI the shower is a wet room - like most basic places. If you want luxury- don’t stay. If you only use the room to sleep and shower - it’s basic and doable

United KingdomThe property does need some investment, for example, the door frame was rotten, the glazing was single and wood frames also rotten, the AC unit was old and bits of the outside casing were broken. Taps dripped constantly (washers needed changed( A deep clean in the shower room would have been good to remove the build up.of soap scum from over the years. I suppose its just a little tired.
The location is great. The bed very comfortable and AC was free to use
