Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ChinaThere isn’t any thing that I didn’t like. But it would be great if the shower temperature could be more stable. And the two days I went down for breakfast, everyone was greeted and asked if they can get any coffee or tea to drink, I was never greeted or asked, not sure why but I assume I look way too familiar to this place?
The staff here are very amicable. The bed is super comfy. Also love the welcoming sets of drinks and slippers. Also liked the turtles in the below floors.

Denmarklocation is fantastic. Breakfast excellent with very helpfull waiters. The view from the roof top terrace to both acropolis and the acropolis museum is unbeatable. In the evening you can see the Parthenon frieze at third floor at the museum from the roof top terrasse.

United KingdomGym was quite open-plan.
We paid for a room with a view of the Acropolis and it was worth it, waking up to that each day was magical. Staff were very helpful in finding dinner reservations, recommendations for what order to visit places etc...Breakfast was plentiful and set us up for the whole day.

RomaniaRooms are a bit small (at least the standard ones). The spa area is quite small: 2 saunas (one dry, one wet) plus a small relaxation area with 4 recliners. The spa area can be used by maximum 4 guests at one time, so you need to book in advance.
Amazing location, right across the street from Acropolis Museum and only 5 minutes walk from Plaka. Very nice design of the hotel in general. Very good choice and variety for breakfast. The lobby, reception area and restaurant are very cozy and the service is good. We were welcomed with complimentary water bottles and a few other small bottled drinks (coca-cola, beer, orange juice). There is a very nice terrace on the roof of the hotel (where there is the pool as well), with views of the Acropolis and the surrounding area.

United KingdomHad the breakfast 1-day which was nice but didn't go again as it didn't feel the best value for money at 20 euros per head.
Great location, very close to Acropolis. Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff and great facilities. Would recommend. Room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the city. Visited in January so the bar wasn't open but the roof terrace was amazing as well.

PolandIt would be great to have a wooden comb as well for those who forgotten to take one with them. Also it would be good to inform the guests that they can order omlettes or poached eggs and that is included in the breakfast. I was informed about it on my last day.
I like the beds, the slippers and amenities. Amazin staff, very friendly. A lady from the reception desk borrowed me her own hair brush, as I have forgotten mine.

IrelandHotel is very modern and stylish and in a great location. Housekeeping staff were very thorough, our room was spotless everyday. Buffet breakfast was good, not too big but lots of traditional fresh foods and the option to order personalised eggs. Room was spacious and had lots of toiletries included. We were also given a selection of drinks for our mini bar on arrival.

United KingdomWe found the mattress and pillows too hard for our liking and that would be the only reason not to come back. The shower arrangement was a bit odd with a separate toilet to the shower and you were stepping right into the room from the shower, the wooden floor had suffered from this and was damaged outside the shower.
Location was perfect just a minute away from restaurants and shops and all the sights were close by. The hotel was lovely and very stylish. The sauna and steam room were also very nice. We loved our balcony overlooking the Acropolis
