Beautiful hotel, with a great pool area with the most amazing view. The hotel restaurant is also very nice for both breakfast and an evening meal.

I had a weird smell in my bathroom and it started bugging me after a while. The room I stayed at the phone was placed next to the bed, which was upstairs - a bit annoying but ok. TV (which was needed due to bad weather) could be upgraded as well as channelselection (again, just because of the bad weather). The beachtowels weren't brought to the room, so you had to swing by the reception on your way to the pool. There were no windowshutters or none that closed properly and I didn't get as good of a rest as I had hoped for due to the early sunlight.

Incredible and forthcoming service. Very lovely design and cocomat products. Great breakfast and amazing food. Even during stormy days worth staying.

I stayed in room C3 it smell like mold it was so overpowering we had to sleep with the door open all night to try to get fresh air. The strong smell of mold was so bad we tried to stay out of the room all day and only came back to sleep since we already prepaid the room. I told the staff the room smells and they told me they don’t have mold and it was from the weather. But if anyone has been around mold or knows the smell then you know what I mean. The staff wasn’t rude when I told them but they tried to tell me they don’t have mold. Which is ok if you say you don’t have mold but you do have a strong mold smell. I wonder what could cause such a mold smell.

The view was great. The room was big I like the location. The staff we’re very professional and nice very good people everyone was very helpful full of knowledge about the local area.

Even though the hotel was built recently some things were already breaking, e.g. shower handle was attached with silicone rubber, the pool had many paint peeling spots. Although the view was great the patio got almost NO sunlight until the end of day due to the side walls. The staff was also not great. We broke a glass near the pool and some shards fell in. We told the staff right away and they said the cleaner would take care of it early the next morning. But when we went into the pool the next day there were SEVERAL shards still inside and I had to gather them by hand and triple check. This could easily have turned into an accident for another guest if we had checked out that day. Overall we think it's a good enough hotel but that didn't match the expectations from photos and the high price.

Our room was very spacious and well decorated. The private pool was very nice and everything was clean. Their breakfast was good IF you get there at the beginning as they don't seem to replenish everything up to the end. The view was very good for the sunset and the location was out of the touristy places that get a look of traffic. The common pool was also very nice.

The property need more maintenance, some doors are not working properly, toilet sewing system was not working properly since it stinks during whole stay, electric panel door was broken and the tried to fix it with tape and toilet sealing were inexistent. The place itself have a lot of potencial but there are a lot of details to be taken care off, it showed little love and poor maintenance.

Staff was very friendly and servicial, food was good too.

The hotel is in the perfect location in Santorini. It is really quiet and feels like a wellness retreat but then all local towns are close by for food and drinks. The hotel and interior has a calming feel and the views are some of the best on the islands. Food incredible, all staff couldn’t have done any more for us. They were all welcoming, happy and really great people. We travelled the island a fair amount and were always glad to return to the peace and quiet of Coco Mat Hotel and Akrotiri
