The pillows were like concrete (we both woke up with ear ache) and the bed was very thin and loud.

The room was fine, and it was a good option for one night after arriving in Corfu before catching the ferry. A 30 min walk to the old town and 15 min walk to the ferry. Nice staff. Balcony was nice

Plane noise, we didn’t realise that the hotel is on the flight path. The immediate area has very little eating or drinking opportunities. You need to take taxis which are expensive.

Friendly helpful staff who were extremely attentive to our needs. We hired a car directly from the hotel, a Fiat 500, which was great. Good value food and drink. Lovely swimming pool and ample sun beds. Very good value hotel, we used it for overnighting before and after going to Paxos.

Not a big deal, but the breakfast buffet area became a bit congested later when more guests were down, with a bit of standing around waiting to get at stuff.

Booked here for a 2 night stay prior to ferry to Paxos, and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel itself is good with a very nice pool and terrace area around it (partly why we chose it) , and a nice bar area both inside and out. The room was a good size and looked recently redecorated although a couple of bathroom fittings looked edging towards replacement time. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and when we booked a taxi advised us against a pre-booking to avoid extra cost, just to give 10 mins notice and that worked out fine. Location is about a 30 minute stroll into Corfu old town, along the sea front, that we were happy to do both days (and a taxi back for 10eu at night) but there is not a lot of respite from the sun on the route in the afternoon... Only ate breakfast there but it was good with the usual assortment of hot food, cereals, yogurts, fresh bread, cakes and fruit. Would definitely be happy booking back here again for a short stay in Corfu town.

Forgot to inform us to book a table for a meal booked a table and forgot us the next day upset us after a days cruise got a table a few mins later but.the goodness was gone

location… nothing nearby except port .. but this was just an overnight stay and if we’d stayed longer we would have explored and gone into town .

Lovely friendly staff throughout our stay. very clean albeit a bit dated in some areas. lovely small boutique hotel. small well maintained pool. wonderful evening meal catering for dietary needs.wished we’d stayed longer and no hesitation in recommending this property.

Only minor thing was It's a little far out. 10 euro in a taxi to old town. We did this most days then walked home. Its is close to the port though so handy for day trips. Wouldn't let this put you off though, nice bars and restaurants close by.

Unfortunately, the end of the vacation was unpleasant, because the hotel deducted the entire amount from the bank card during the reservation, but this was not acknowledged at check-out, and I had to pay again, and they even threatened the police as if I were a fraud. Currently, the bill has been paid twice and now I have to trust that my money will be paid back. The hotel is in a very out-of-the-way place, but I would have felt good if I hadn't had to come crying and scared on the last day and disappointed that I had paid twice.

You will need to pay €10-12 to get into town by taxi (worth booking at reception) if you don't want to do the 20-25 minute walk into town: there is a route over the hill. There is a bus service although I didn't use it.

This is a lovely hotel in a quiet part of Corfu Town. I can't rate the staff and the service enough. It has a small pool set in pretty gardens, with a pool bar. The food is excellent, as is the service. The hotel is easily accessible for folk with limited mobility, including the pool area which has paved areas and ramp access where needed.

We have stayed at the Corfu Mare; the staff are absolutely exceptional. The rooms are lovely, clean and very well maintained with good facilities. The pool and bar area is lovely, well set up and very well maintained. The food and service are excellent too. The staff really do go the extra mile to make sure you are well looked after

The only thing I did not like was the bed but the pillows were the worst. To big and hard. I did not sleep well. I would not return because of that.

The bus to get into town does not run everyday, if you did not have a car it is very difficult to get around. The port however is definitely within walking distance. Breakfast was basic but did the job.

Extremely friendly staff at checkin giving you all the information needed as well as a bus schedule should you not have a car and wish to go into town. Although we did not use the pool it looked great and was popular amongst other guests.
