We checked out on their last date. It is better to return few days before they close for the season. Never stay until the last date. The whole staff leaves at the same time. What they should have done in my honest opinion, staff leaves one day later so the guests who have a ferry to catch in the late afternoon can have the opportunity to have lunch at the pool bar and maybe swim in the morning if the weather is good.

The location was great. It was on the beach which was fully organised. The beach beds were very comfortable and the call button attachhed to the umbrella was great. The beach had some pebbles, so you might want to bring wet shoes but it is not a must. The bathroom of the standart room was small. We upgraded to executive sea view room and it was the perfect size. The hotel is accessible for people with mobility issues. Beach restaurant was great during lunch time and at night we tried the Italian restaurant, also good but most of the options from menu were not available as they were almost closing for the season. Unfortunately Samas was closed. The Greek restaurant Pasas was fair. Better to go to town.

My room had partial view and was situated right over the water fountain. So I neither got to see the sunrise/sunset not hear the ocean views, which was one of the reasons I paid for the room. The room AC did not work during my entire stay.

Great location, amazing beach and wonderful staff. The food was amazing and the entire resort is beautiful. I would definitely choose the village rooms in the future instead of the main building.

We did not get the rooms we requested we were travelling as a family and one was in the main building and one room was in the village. Key card broke off in the lock. The pool was very cold. We were not advised about the facilities and discovered a gym in the change rooms at checkout.

it was a bit odd that coffee and water were only provided on the first day (though they did bring coffee when we asked). service at Asterias was hectic when we visited, with only one server able to take orders and payment, and the manager didn't seem to be helping out.

we just enjoyed a great stay at doryssa. the room was quiet, comfortable and had a great view. the food was excellent, from the breakfast buffet to the Asian inspired Unan restaurant. best of all was the front desk staff, led by Spyros. Xenia. Andrea and especially Marina went out of their way to accommodate some travel snafus, give us guidance on things to do and provide luggage storage while waiting for our ferry in another town. I can't recommend this hotel and staff highly enough.

We had problems with having clean beach towels every time. Each day we had to wait for 20 minutes under the midday sun to get clean towels as we were promised. When we asked why do we have to wait so long, the answer was always “waiting for the laundry to be done” it could have been better organised.

The old village concept was designed very well. The room we stayed was very cute. We loved it! The beach is amazing the sea was very clean and the sea temprature was perfect!

Staff is very professional. We booked our room over booking.com and it was double room with garden view. But there was some problem about type of room that I booked. Hotel Manager and his staff immediately react very kind and upgrade our room in 5 minutes. Special thanks to Mr. Spyros Likakis, the hotel manager.

The breakfast buffet was great, but the same options were served every day for a week. It would have been better to have more variety in the breakfast choices and also, There were too many ants in the room I stayed in. The ants occasionally bit us, which was quite bothersome.

It would be great if there were squat rack and barbell bench press equipment in the gym. The wind was quite strong so it would be great if there were some wingfoiling equipment to rent.

The staff, especially Boncuk was very friendly and helpful. Location was superb. We could walk to town center with our baby. The beach was fantastic. No need to look for an alternative. Breakfast was superb.

On one of the nights we needed an extra pique cover for the night and even though they called to let us know they would bring it by, we didn’t receive it.

The buffet was exquisite but try the Asterias restaurant for a luxury experience. The sea is crystal clear, albeit a little cold but you get used to it and it’s refreshing. The village is extremely cute and everything is so well thought out - down to the little fountains on street corners to wash your feet. The shop at the village square has most everything you might need on vacation. Boutiques have a good selection.

Absolutely everything was perfect

What an amazing hotel, what an incredible stay. The staff were soo polite , attentive and wonderful. All our needs were catered to the best. It was our first time in Samos and the location of the hotel was perfect too. It was a walking distance from the restaurants and shops at the marina. But if you don’t want to go to the marina to eat. Hotel has variety of wonderful dining options too. Unan a great Asian restaurant is the restaurant we plan to try on our next stay because we didn’t get to dine in this time. The beach was amazing we loved that it was just a short distance away. Breakfast buffet had good quality products that were delicious. I would like to thank each and everyone of the stuff such as Elefterio, Alexandria,Benek, Konstantin,and Maria… And everyone else I forgot to mention, thank you for making our trip unforgettable. 🙏🏼 can’t wait to come back here again and wake up to the sound of birds and the view of the beautiful sea and the trees.

Everything was impeccable at Doryssa resort! We had our wedding there at Asterias Seaside Experience and the food and service was simply amazing. The food and beverage manager, George, is so hospitable, organised and goes above and beyond for guests. I could not recommend this hotel any more if I tried!!!

Parking was a little tight but there was always a spot each evening for our car rental.

We stayed at the Village part of the resort, which was modeled after authentic villages on the island. You literally felt like you were living in a village but with luxurious rooms. Breakfast was fabulous, with many food and seating options. The hotel has a private beach with chairs and umbrellas. The main town is within walking distance.
