‏We stayed at the hotel for a week ‏The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport ‏And about 20 minutes from the city of Karakira - it's fun to walk around there. ‏The hotel is located right on the water, so you can just cross the road and enter the sea, sit and enjoy the peace and the view ‏There is parking near the hotel so it is really convenient for those who come by car ‏The view from the hotel is simply breathtaking, it's fun to wake up in front of it every morning ‏The rooms are very pleasant, comfortable and clean ‏The food served at breakfast is really nice ‏And those who made this amazing experience perfect are the hosts, the owners of the hotel ‏An amazing family who welcomed us with open arms and made sure we enjoyed every moment of our stay at the hotel ‏Highly recommend!!!! Be careful walking into Benitses from Hotel El Greco. There are a couple of dangerous bends that do not have footpaths, so you will be playing chicken with the traffic.

The breakfast was delicious. Lots of variety and plenty to eat. Kathrina prepared freshly made cappucinos for us each morning.

The breakfast was very good, but if you stay longer than 3 days, it's becoming dull. It would be great if there was either a variation, or to change it by rotation every couple of days. Nevertheless, we enjoyed it, as there was a lot of love in every piece of pastry and in every cup of coffee.

One has to be aware that it's not a luxury hotel. However, it's clean, quite quiet (although the main street passes in front of the hotel) and the entire staff is just exceptionally nice. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay, enjoying a breathtaking scenery, in a friendly company.

It was an unpretentious family run hotel with all the essentials for a comfortable stay, and was spotlessly clean. Beautiful views from the terraces. We were made very welcome - the proprietor stayed up to wait for us although we arrived after midnight, when they would normally have closed. Staff - especially the proprietors wife - were friendly, helpful and welcoming, which was much appreciated

Although you can swim anytime in front of the hotel, you need to walk some time to get to a real beach with sunbed and umbrellas.

The breakfast was simple but tasty and plentiful. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. It really feels like a family hotel. The room was cosy and cleaned regularly. The green bust stops right in front of the hotel.

We spent 10 days here with friends. The hotel is located in a beautiful place, overlooking the sea, just cross the street to be on the beach. It was wonderful to wake up with such a beautiful view of the sea. This is a two-star hotel and there is everything you need, the rooms are clean and well-kept. Bed linen and towels are changed regularly every 2/3 days and you can feel that they smell. The girls who helped us keep the apartment clean were also very helpful and nice!😊 Breakfasts are satisfactory, the owner brought bread from a friendly bakery every day, you could feel that the food was fresh. What is also worth mentioning is that the bus stop is located right under the hotel, it made traveling around the island very easy for us, communication is really good here. The Achilleion Palace and gardens are also nearby, which you can visit. In addition, there are many wonderful restaurants in Beniteses, where you can eat delicious Greek food, I especially recommend Flora's Restaurant and Captain Jacko's. But what I left for the end of my review is the atmosphere and the people who create el Greco. We have been to many places but never felt like here. We are enchanted by the owners! Katerina always greeted us with her huge and beautiful smile at breakfast, told us about the island, gave us advice on transport, where to eat, gave directions, told us what to look out for, told us about the culture and the people, also we just laughed together and told stories. We were really treated like family members, apart from the fact that it is their job they simply create a family atmosphere. They are people with a big heart. The hotel had a nice view, it's facing the sea, it was pleasant and with an interesting building style. The staff was kind, friendly and helpful, Net rooms and very good breakfast. The location is great- close enough to the old port without the traffic, a very good starting point for exploring the island, all rooms have porches facing the beautiful sea and breathtaking sunrises. Most importantly- the owners are the best- helpful, attentive, kind and very dedicated to their visitors. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

The walk into town as the footpath was not good.when we booked the pictures show a swimming pool but that is not there now..so a bit disappointed about that..

The hotel was very very traditional and it felt like we where staying in someone's home not a hotel.the owners could not do enough for us far more than we expected. It was clean and the views where amazing..Breakfast was very good.

I have no complaints.

The owners are the absolute best! Gave amazing recommendations and answered all our questions. The hotel is right next to a bus stop (across the road), so you can use it to get to Corfu town and other part of the island if you transfer at the Greenbus station. The room was nice and spacious, everything was clean and there was a mini fringe and air-conditioning. The view from our balcony was also beautiful! I would 100% go back there if I ever visited Corfu again.

I would definitely come back to El Greco hotel on my next visit to Corfu. The owners are really friendly, pleasant and can help you if you have problems. The location is perfect. I was amazed by the beautiful sea view from our room. The breakfast was tasty and varied !
