Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe hotel is exceptionally good value for money for Greek standards. Staff were very friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean with quiet green balconies. Sports facilities and pools were huge. It's outside of the city and parking in the city is difficult, so the location is isn't perfect. But you have super easy access to a pebble beach just across the road. Only drawback - the beds were not super comfortable, with hard mattresses and super high pillows.

PolandThe additional cost of the sauna is ridiculous, so we did not use it. There was a lack of vibration isolation of the condensing unit which is on the roof of the bedroom. This means that there was an intermittent buzzing noise in the
Very helpful and friendly staff who are always cheerful and happy to help with anything you may need. The rooms are in separate buildings to the main building of the hotel which could be an issue if you are there when it is raining.

FranceIt did take a while to heat up the room. But it was early February!! So that is not a complaint.
The breakfast was amazing. Fresh and delicious. The personnel, especially the front desk were efficient as well as friendly and helpful. We did not use the spa facilities, but the hotel was an ideal base for touring the archeological sites and the superb countryside in this part of the Peleponnese.

United KingdomThe quality of the food in the restaurant doesn't match the quality of the hotel or the quality of the restaurant service which was excellent; tough chicken, "fried potatoes", obviously heated frozen potato wedges (and bad ones too), breakfast items nearly cold as heated food trays not set properly.
Efficient, polite and friendly welcome, great room with a comfortable bed and a good shower.

GreeceThe Elysian Luxury Hotel and Spa in Kalamata, Greece, was an amazing stay for us! We thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas Eve dinner, which offered excellent choices and was very tasty. The hotel had a cozy atmosphere with beautiful holiday decorations. The staff were exceptionally polite, and the Spa services were outstanding. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and festive experience!

United StatesFor a resort spa, we thought the beautiful pool might have been heated, but it wasn't. Only negative.
Wonderful hotel with a great breakfast buffet. Location was just across the street from the beach. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

GermanyThe staff was very friendly in general but one woman at the reception, she was also friendly but when we asked for late check out (her very friendly colleague that also offered us the room change the day before told us in the morning that it’s no problem since the hotel was quite empty) she answered ‘it’s national holiday so the hotel is full, we’re sorry! The hotel was completely empty you could tell from the parking lot, pool area and also the restaurants and breakfast buffet. Maybe she should have checked in the system before telling us something like that… We had an apartment with own pool area, on the photos (the employee told me they are a bit old and were taken when the hotel opened and should be updated) the area around the pool is quite open, now there are lots of bushes what is beautiful but they need to be cut, because like that there is almost no sun during the whole day. We could change the room to one with a bit more sunshine after asking what was very nice and we appreciated the offer and her kind effort! At the buffet there is no coffee machine, like I knew it from other hotels. You can order coffee free of charge but the waiters need quite long to bring them (we finished eating before our coffee came, even if there were not many guests) Except one day, there was a nice young guy, guess he normally worked behind the bar, really fast, asking us right when we entered and brought our coffee right away! Compliment to this guy, great service (unfortunately we don’t know the name). Maybe it’s easier for guests and staff if there would just be a self service coffee machine with different options, especially in the busier season.
Very nice hotel near the sea, a big great pool area and great facilities and towels offered! We were there during OFF-Season! Breakfast buffet was good with a lot of things! The restaurant offers a good choice of things and also good cocktails (bit pricy for Greece but with a very good taste what makes the price quite fair). The area is very quiet which we liked, but you might need a car to go out to eat during off season! Big parking lot with a lot of space to leave the car! Great landscape with a lot of trees and flowers! We could take a shower in the Spa area before leaving since we had to check out early and our flight was at 9 pm, that’s a big big plus! We really appreciated this! The rooms are great and very clean! All in all the hotel is great! We will definitely recommend it come back! :)

United StatesNothing comes to mind. You do need a car unless you want to walk aways into town. But perfect vacation. We'll be back.
Amazing, amazing, amazing! We were transported into a beauty oasis in Kalamata. Close to the Sea but who needed the beach when we had this incredible pool with very attentive staff. The breakfast had everything your heart and stomach could desire -- specialty coffees, fresh juices, Deples!!! The rooms were private and very comfortable. The bar even had soccer games on for us. Highly recommend!

LatviaThe hotel is like a huge garden, everything is so green. Even around the pool there are no tiles like everywhere, but a lawn. And sunbeds are hidden under the olive trees. The service staff is very kind and nice. Especially the girl Nataly, who recommended us a lot of nice things to try on the spot in Kalamata. This was the rare occasion when the hotel was better than I expected.

GermanyNothing to complain about - the overall score is 9/10, but the rooms, although spacious and clean, feel not as luxurious as they should at the price. Also, the beach itself, although nice, is a little bit subpar for Peloponnese standards, and you need a car or taxi to access the city of Kalamata (but we knew that before).
Extremely friendly reception & service staff, housekeeping very thorough and nice - 10/10. Also it seems that a fully booked Hotel would still mean a relaxed atmosphere with enough space at breakfast, enough sunbeds at the pool etc. etc. Hotel restaurant surprisingly good.
