Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandThe food wasn’t incredible and not what you’d expect from a 5 star resort. But, there were plenty of choices at breakfast to try out. Arguably, a five star hotel should have some kind of barista or proper coffee service as opposed to machine made coffee. So, that would have been welcomed!
The Elysium is great. We stayed for two nights there and really enjoyed our stay. The sea view rooms are great, and the facilities are lovely. It’s a huge hotel to navigate and lots to do. For me, the shining star was the hotel gym which was really well equipped compared to other hotels. The staff were always welcoming and helpful as well. We booked into the sauna and steam room on our last day and really enjoyed it too.

GermanyThe rooms are ok, but I think there’s room for improvement given this is a five-star hotel. Especially the doors are not sound-proof and you can hear the noise from the road.
This is a very nice hotel in a good location, with a nice and clean pebble beach (you need swimming shoes). The hotel amenities and facilities are excellent, nice pool, good restaurants, great spa. Although we were there in August during the high season, it never felt too crowded. Almost all staff are very friendly. We gave some feedback for minor improvements while we were there, and it was amazing how the staff dealt with it. They sent some sparking wine and fresh fruits to our room, which was a very nice gesture. They also surprised my husband with a birthday cake. All in all, a very pleasant experience, and we’ll definitely go back.

AustraliaThe hotel was conveniently located near the bus stop which was very helpful while travelling. The hotel itself was beautiful with access to beach and pool. You can actually spend hours inside. The staff were also very accommodating and helpful. Overall we had an amazing time there.

United KingdomAs an Elite client, we felt the free all day drinks and buffet location was located in a bad place, windowless room with no view on level 2. We were reluctant to come indoors to have these freebies , so did not avail of the service as we thought we would. Were advised we had to eat and drink in the room. Who goes on a sun holiday to sit in a windowless room ! Perhaps a better ,outdoor location or a space on RL with a sea view. As an elite client we expected to use the Serenity facilities I.e the pool but were told only if we paid or had a treatment. The Serenity pool never seemed used that much, which is a shame.
Everything, fabulous location. Staff were so nice , from cleaners to bar staff, waiters, beach staff, etc They were all so helpful and sociable Food in Fresh and Emerald restraunts was great Breakfast in the PR restraunt was great Music in beach bar was the best Definitely planning a revisit next year.

United KingdomWasn't aware of €20 per wellness/spa session so didn't use it. Gym closed at 7pm. Very little day entertainment, in fact there wasn't any. It would be great hotel for some but for us, I should have researched this one better; it didn't really satisfy our needs...we cut short the stay by 3 days and moved into Rhodes Old Town.
Staff were great. Beachside location. Good fitness area but closed too early 7pm, after day on beach or touring, it impacted fitness routines. Food was excellent in Fresh restaurant especially stone baked salmon.

United KingdomHonestly can't think of one.
This hotel offered us everything 'we' expected for our short break in Rhodes, the staff were excellent the breakfast offered so much variety I challenge anyone to give a negative and the room was spacious, lovely friendly cleaning lady, one of many staff members who's goal was to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Bonus for us the local transport which we were able to access right outside the hotel allowed us to visit Rhodes Town and Lindos, two fabulous sites to visit on the island.

IsraelThe free WiFi in the room was very weak, but comparing with everything else, this is minor.
The staff was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. The facilities were great! The location was excellent. This is an excellent choice for those who want to get away from hotels suitable for families with children. Everything is very quiet and calm

IsraelIf you're staying in the hotel, keep in mind if you're not taking half board, there are not too many options around the hotel. Mini golf is very small, if you're fan of mini golf. For the management, there are few things which could be improved, if you're looking for the feedback: the mobile app of the hotel should be reviewed, some sections are not working, some repetitive, needs improvement, not very intuitive. The room towels and bathrobes should be replaced, as they are already not very pleasant to the touch. Personally didn't like the pillow, pillow menu would be appreciated. There is such a section in the app, but it's empty.
The facilities are very clean, peaceful location, staff is very friendly and helpful. A lot of sun beds, great beach. You have a nice tennis court, spa, gym and yoga classes if you want to stay active during your stay. We got the room in the 3 building, which was recently renovated. AC in the room is perfect, easy to manage, not making loud sounds or freezing you during the night. There is a bus station next to the hotel in case you want to go to Lindos or Rhodes city. We thought to rent a car, but the buses were actually not to bad. Only 25 minutes to the Rhodes city and you can get the schedule on the reception.

AustraliaOnly a small thing but having stayed in a room in the main building with excellent shower options, this room shower was poor in comparison with low pressure and functionality. I also left a personal towel and swimming costumes on the balcony clothes line of the unit as i forgot due to a 4am check out. I’ve messaged the property asking if those items could be forwarded on to me but have not had a response yet. Spending 6 days i trust they will assist me.
Staff were most welcoming

GreeceThe hotel is located in the middle of the road between Faliraki and Rhodes. I had to take the bus every day to find economic or traditional restaurants and taverns. In the room there was an espresso machine but not capsules.
The personnel was very friendly and kind. Especially Katerina in the breakfast room and the cleaning lady on the fifth floor. They were always ready to help and serve for every issue. The pool was amazing and much better than the pools of other similar hotels in the same area. The breakfast was extremely good and varied. Finally, there was a free room upgrade.
