Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomHorrendous noise of building work including hammering and drilling began before 7am on Saturday and at 7am on Sunday. WTAF. Not even sure what this was - there was a building site right next door on my side of the hotel but could not see any builders. Was not even sure if it was in the hotel, eg on the roof as I was on the fourth floor. This was totally unacceptable so early at the weekend as it sounded so loud it was in my room. We had been out for meals until 1am so it was very unwelcome to be rocketed awake.
Lovely great high quality property. Lovely staff, great food and good location. Clean and lovely bathrooms. Great view of the sea.

United KingdomThe room was overlooking a construction site that had builders working from around 8am. I wasn't told about this upon check-in. Also the builders could see into the room so the blinds had to remain shut most of the time, which minimised the amount of light in the room and took away from the view. The lighting in the room was very minimal, which added to the frustration.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. There's a lovely lobby area to hang out in and the rooftop bar is a great place to relax with some nice drinks and views. The pool, also on the rooftop, is good for those who want to lay about. The hotel is clean and has the minimum necessities.

United StatesThe only issue we had was with the room size and the fact that we had 2 big suitcases that took up a lot of space and there was no dressers. The desk was not useful I would suggest a dresser in its place.
Everything was great! the breakfast was nice. The staff were friendly. The roof top swimming pool was an extra bonus.

Even breakfast ststrs 7 am. It is a family own business with strange rules.. Rated as 4 but in fact should not be more the 3 stars
Location is fairly good. The hotel itself was clean. The staff impleminted rules (but staff themselves were good)

IsraelThere was no hot water in the shower in the morning.😒 No alternative milk options for breakfast - no soya or almond or other type - so no coffee or serials for lactose intolerant people. There is a construction next door, so if you are sensitive to noise, it starts early morning. Said all the above, its a good hotel, would stay there again.
The hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel is clean and either new or totally renovated. We got upgraded room, without asking, which was nice The location is good, fairly close, walking distance to the main city area, and it’s close to the beach. The rooftop bar and pool are nice.

IrelandIf I was to be super picky: - Parasol/Umbrella over the sun loungers on the rooftop bar would have been lovely for shade. Octopus was a a bit overcooked for my liking (Salmon fillet was spot on though).
So close to all public transport. Few minutes walk from glyfada (shops, restaurants, etc.) And super close to beaches. Staff great, especially Monika in rooftop bar. Great food, great pool, good value drinks. Would definitely stay here again.

CyprusThe price is rather excessive for a four star hotel that does not have a gym/sport facilities.
The renovations to the hotel are amazing ! We had stayed here a couple years ago so to see the newly modernized hotel was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful and were extremely accommodating even at 12:30AM on the rooftop bar!

United StatesI have nothing to dislike. My stay was for one night before and after a cruise and everyone was very accommodating. They even assisted with transportation to and from the cruise and to the airport.
The staff was very welcoming. The food was great and our group even ended up having a party in the rooftop bar. Thank you!

ItalyThe Hotel is on a very busy main road, so very noisy. Thankfully the rooms are fitted with good windows and once closed, the traffic does not disturb your sleep. Unable to enjoy the terrace in the room, as it overlooks the main road which is highly trafficked.
The Emmantina Hotel has been recently refurbished in a stylish manner. The staff are courteous and professional. As we arrived from the Port of Piraeus at around 2100 hrs, we had dinner on the rooftop restaurant/bar of the Hotel and enjoyed the food, which was reasonably priced. There is a pool on the roof but unfortunately we did not get to see it as it closes in the evening for safety reasons. The room was a good size and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The bathroom was stocked with all the necessities (including dispensers for hair/body wash, hair conditioner, hand soap and body lotion). Slippers and robes were also provided. Good variety at breakfast and nice ambience. There is a vending machine on the ground floor if you need to buy a bottle of water or a snack. We took a taxi to the airport which cost €40 (approx. 30 mins ride) but there is an airport bus stop nearby. For information, a taxi from Piraeus Port to the Emmantina Hotel cost us €35 (inclusive of luggage). We left the next morning so unable to comment on the surrounding area: shops, restaurants, etc..... The Hotel does not overlook the sea but is on a main busy road, although we were able to see a little of the sea from a distance from our room which was on the third floor (better view from the rooftop). We would definitely return to The Emmantina Hotel if we need to stay the night prior to travelling, as it is halfway between Athens Airport and the Piraeus Port.
