Very few downsides, once major one for me was the showers. They were all co-ed which would have been fine if they were in locking cubicles. However, they weren’t. The showers were in rows of three facing into the bathrooms and main corridors which only a curtain blocking everyone’s view. You could not put a towel inside with you which made me as a young solo female traveler feel quite unsafe while showering. Another thing was that despite what the name suggests this is not a youth hostel. I ended up sharing the room with quite a few older men which again made me a little uncomfortable. Not the hostels fault but something to note.

I loved the privacy curtains across the beds, they allowed you to have some me time in an otherwise crowded room. The hostel itself was also so clean, I saw cleaners every morning making sure everything was working. The common areas, both the upstairs and the kitchen were also lovely and very nice to spend some time in when you didn’t feel like being in bed.

The hostel was very well organised and impressively clean. Although due to my flight I arrived late, everything was prepared for me and it was very easy to find my way around and use the facilities. Particularly the bathrooms/toilets were spotless and the room had plenty of space to move around, while not disturbing other occupants. Big bonus the lockers in the room.

It has all you can ask for in a hostel and more. The amazingly beautiful roof gives you the feeling of a garden right over the roofs of the town. The let me stay there for the night as my flight landed at 2 a.m. and I did not book a room for this short night. Showers are clean, everything is very modern and beautiful. Was a nice stay!

The staff was very kind and helpful, the hostel was clean, have all the facilities for us being able to cook. It is well located near the bus station and in the middle of the old town. I was able to work remote from the rooftop.

Great Hostel in Heraklion. Close to the City Center, Supermarket and Restaurants Nearby. You can use the Kitchen and hang out at the Roof Top. Every evening people are there to hang out! Staff is great

It's not in my country

This extraordinary nice hostel is run by very nice staff. The kitchen is great, and the rooftop is stunning! I went away for only 1 day and literallt get home sick. Sounds sentimental? Just wait to be there:)

Perfect location for getting around the old town in Heraklion, clean modern room with a nice bathroom. Very tidy, well-appointed kitchen with drinkable tap water from one of the taps (they advise not to drink Heraklion's tap water). Really nice value for money, was very quiet because of the time of year.

Nothing! My favorite hostel I have stayed in so far

Front desk staff, especially Pavlos, was so kind and extremely helpful with tips and information about the island, transportation and food recommendations. The facilities were kept very clean during my stay. Rooms were secure. Locker was big enough for both of my bags. Curtain on bed gave nice privacy. The rooftop was nice for socializing. Good location fairly close to busses and very close to shops, grocery and many restaurants.

Great location in the heart of the city but away from traffic, close to groceries and restaurants as well as the ocean. Very friendly vibes from staff and other hostel guests - common areas are set up to facilitate making travel friends!

There could be a hanger in the bathroom to have a place for your things, also power socket for upper beds, minor things though :)

It would be nice to have a chair on the balcony but I know that it's actually a narrow corridor but no one walks on it. A chair and table inside the room would be nice too..

The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. You could order fresh goat milk from the male receptionist. The facilities are very clean. The sheets are fresh. Having a balcony to let in light and air is a bonus.

Locks were not provided to store our luggage inside the cabinet.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean. Curtains are offered to all beds to provide privacy. The kitchen on the second floor is also spacious with free drinking water available. The hotel is very close to the port and considerably close to the bus station.
