Initially we were provided with a room that did not meet our needs or expectations. Crumbling ceilings, rotting wood, flooded bathroom, etc.

Once we were moved to a decent room, everything was great.

A Slight upgrade to the bathroom could’ve been good, But no big draw. In our room, the bathroom was also quite small, But decent.

We really appreciated the garden, the view, the pool and the ambience surrounding the entire residence. Relaxing and beautiful. Would love to go back.

The internet is almost non-existent...even the mobile signal is very bad. We did not try the breakfast because it seems to have been removed from the offer during our stay, which is very strange because it was mentioned in the offer.

Really nice accommodation and great pool. The location is very good and very quiet. The apartment itself is comfortable, although it may need a little of refurbishment. Decent parking. Thanks for assistance with parking on the very first day to the owner.

Unfortunately no breakfast or bar service, But very close to an excellent bakery and other restaurants. Obviously a problem with the pool when we stayed as it was a bit cloudy and off colour. But they were working on it twice a day trying to rectify.

Reception was often unmanned or manned by a gentleman who only spoke Italian. As the apartments were not at capacity we had no problem finding a sunbed but at busy times this might be an issue The complex is up a very steep hill - we had to get a taxi back from the beach!

The only thing that I was less happy with, was there wasn't a lot of shade by the pool. It was hard to get the chairs in the correct position to find shade. In addition the pool was closed between 2-5 which I thought odd. The pool itself was lovely and very clean

Nothing really. Just important to know that you need a car to allow you to move freely in the hilly/steepy area. Mousata is a quite village with not to much for tourists, so is difficult the island by public transport. I was travelling with a toddler and stayed in the ground floor superior apartment, I would only suggest to install a small gate to the open terrace.

I would come back. Very good. Stunning views of the sea and island. Rooms cleaned daily. Good blinds protecting the sun. Everything neat and tidy. Nice communal pool area. Centrally located in the island you can explore south, North and East easily. Pleasant stay. Nice and friendly staff.

The bar near the pool was closed, but that was really not an issue for us. Hardly any of the staff speak English, but that wasn't a problem either as Effi speaks excellent English, plus everything ran smoothly. Greek and Italian are spoken, not sure about other languages.

Very comfortable room, modern and well equipped, clean, faultless. Lovely gardens, excellent pool. Effi (the owner) is warm and welcoming without being overbearing. The hotel has two very pleasant tavernas within a few minutes drive. Several excellent beaches within a short drive. Hire car is - in my opinion - a must as there is so much to explore nearby and further afield. The far north of the island is around 1h30 minutes by car. Airport 20 mins.

The owner is a wonderful woman and super helpful and friendly. I believe she is an architect and this clearly shows in the residence design. A beautiful place to stay with lovely views and a clean pool area. Lovely greenery too. The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. The bed is super comfy!

Property is up a steep hill and quite out of the way so you need a car to get around.

I note the owner/manager asks for the city tax to be paid separately. However with booking.com it is paid when the room is booked (unlike Italy where you pay the city tax separately (which is also stated when you book)). There is a high chance quests are paying the city tax twice if they are not checking whether they have already paid when they booked. Like many showers in Europe, the bathroom floor gets wet when you shower!

The studio apartments are clean and light. The bed although appears soft is actually quite comfortable. The wee kitchenette is functional, all utensils are available to cook something. Nice swimming pool and pool area. The location is good. You can walk down to the beaches, there are a choice of a few. Restaurants in the area are also good and the apartments are near a super market. Nice spot to spend a holiday break in Kefalonia.

the hotel did not inform us about the closing of the pool bar, absence of breakfast option and absence of other guests. they were closing for the winter, and I think we were unexpected visits.

Trapezaki beach,we thought might not have been as close we thought,bear in mind if walking it's all up hill on the way back.

Area a little remote, so if you want to be able to get to bars etc it’s a 5-10 min drive or a walk down narrow roads in the dark! But if you prefer to be somewhere a bit more remote and peaceful and relaxing, then it’s perfect :)

Overall lovely room, clean, scenic, lovely style to the room. Beautiful view out over the pool. Very quiet and peaceful and perfect place to relax. Lovely friendly host who is easily contactable and offered great recommendations for places to visit. Also offered to let us still use showers etc after check out if we had a late flight - overall a great stay!

Friendly personal service from Hugh on reception. Lots of information regarding local area. Wonderful view of the sea and overlooking the beautiful garden and pool. Very comfy bed and the nicest pillow I’ve ever slept on.

To be honest I’m quite a critical person usually but I’m struggling to think of anything negative.

From the moment we arrived and met the owner, Effy, we absolutely loved our stay here. Effy, her family and Hugh the general manager (I think that’s his role) were all really friendly and have lots of great tips for things to do on the island. We stayed in the Felix studio with sea & pool view and a large private veranda. The location up in the hills gave great views and the walk to the nearest mini market and restaurants was only 5-10 mins. I would suggest hiring a car though as it’s quite hilly and it’s a fairly long walk to the nearest beach.
