My husband, aged 76 had to lift two heavy cases to the first floor by stairs and our host didn't even propose to help him.

Neighbours were very noisy that is not a problem of the guest.

Comfy and nice apartment. Fully equiped kitchen, good beds and very close to the beach Kalamaki - approx. 6 mins by car. About 20 minutes by walk to Zakynthos city and 7 min by car to airport. It was perfect locatiom for the end of our vacation. Big parking place here.

The location is very nice, Nikos helped us with the car rental and he also allow us to check in very early, around 7:30 in the morning. The rooms are big, very clean and the yard in nice and large.

We loved our stay at Filoxenia, beautiful complex of studios and apartments. Close to Zakynthos town, nice beaches and restaurants (not the crowded ones, Nikos will give you incredible recommendations), supermarkets. Our apartment was amazing. And Nikos is the best host!

wonderful place, absolute 5* experience. The rooms were really high standard, daily cleaned and everything was working perfect. The environment of the hospitality was very beautiful with all the green and trees and you can just feel how much love and care was put into the place… its very clear that this is not supposed to be just a hotel but really feel like a home and a place to calm down and relax during holiday. staff is very nice and i loved the double espresso/freddo espresso every morning. i will definitely come again thank you for having us!

I didn’t think that this would ever be a problem, but the property had a issue with the cold water, the water wasn’t that cold so you couldn’t chill that well after a shower, at least for my taste.

The garden was absolutely gorgeous. The parking area was spacious and didn’t had to worry about parking too close to others. The property is a bit away from the main road so there wasn’t any noises from the cars passing by and also is close by the harbor, ~15min walk.

the space is enough and each room has its own bathroom. the rooms are clean. the garden is particularly beautiful. they have a very large and spacious parking place. the house is located in a very quiet area. the owner was extremely kind and gave us a lot of useful information. the fact that it is cleaned daily is very great. for us it was wonderful and we recommend it. we will return for sure.

The location was a little out of town. An easy 20 to 25 minute walk so not a big issue but as I hadn't yet rented a car, it was a little far for me, though there was a shop, a petrol station and a supermarket all within 5 to 8 minutes walk. All that said, the distance from Zakynthos town was stated on Booking and also for anyone with a car it wouldn't be an issue at all :)

Nikos and Marieta were extremely personable, helpful, friendly and kind. I really liked them and the lovely atmosphere they created. Nikos gave me a warm welcome and was very attentive and helpful with any questions I had. They also have a few extremely adorable and affectionate cats each of whom made me feel very at home. They were all true hospitality professionals 🥰

Filoxenia is a lovely place situated about (a pleasant) twenty minutes walk from Zakynthos town and about 3km from the Airport. The countryside setting is very peaceful with nice views. The room was spacious, comfortable with all amenities and was cleaned daily. Nikos, the manager, was extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable and contributed greatly to a most enjoyable stress-free week

NOT A NEGATIVE AT ALL BUT THIS PLACE WOULD BE EVEN BETTER IF IT HAD A POOL OR HOT TUBS FOR THE RELLY HOT MONTHS IN THE SEASON

LOVELY SPACEOUS ROOMS, GREAT SHOWER, VERY COMFY BED, GOOD SIZE BALCONY, ROOM WAS CLEANED EVERYDAY. IT WAS GOOD THAT THEY DIDNT CHARGE EXTRA FOR HEATING/ AIR-CONDITIONING (HOWEVER NOT NEEDED IN APRIL BUT WILL BE NEEDED IN THE SUMMER MONTHS). PLENTY OF ROOM FOR CAR PARKING ALSO :)
