Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe little balcony was extremely small and I’m not sure two people would have fitted on it
It was simply but amply furnished and very clean and an abundance of flowers and plants in the patio area

GermanyThe room description included a washing machine, there wasn't one and I couldn't find anyone to ask if there was a community machine. I had trouble figuring out how to get the television to work and find programs. I think it was set to french and only Greek stations. An instruction page, (in English) would be rather helpful for the customers. My room was one the side/back side of the house, some flowers on the fence but not really a garden, just the houses next door. The Water Pump for the hotel was rather loud and got on my nerves, when I was on the small balcony. I couldn't find anyone to properly check out, Okay. So I just left the key in the door.
The Location is Super, just a few steps and one is right in the middle of everything on the waterfront. The air conditioner works wonderfully. The maid was nice, she speaks only Greek, is the only one I saw. My son had already checked in. The room was clean and pretty basic. But I think there is a difference between all the different rooms. It would make sense to ask directly with Hotel , which room one is getting. Esp. if stairs are a problem for you. The price is/was reasonable.

AustraliaIt was quite dark with limited natural light. The staff didn’t speak much English which was hard to communicate (got yelled at in Greek). However it was safe, comfortable and convenient.
Loved the location and the charming vibe. It was perfect for what we needed.

United KingdomThis is not the fault of the owners, but i had some extremely loud neighbours that kept me awake throughout 2 (out of 3) of the nights stays. This slightly ruined the experience for me.
The family were kind and location great! The room is as described.

United KingdomThe room was very comfortable in the centre of Fiskardo. I was expecting a little kitchenette but we had only a fridge and a kettle so we couldn't have a proper dinner in there but was enough for us. If you arrive at Fiskardo, look for Nitsa's, that's the real name of the place. It's in a back street behind the main harbour, next to a Thai restaurant. You will see a lot of beautiful pink flowers in front of it! Host doesn't really speak english and she is a very tipical greek lady, you cannot miss her :)

United KingdomOur first room was dark and dingy and overlooked an air con unit so no view. Very basic facilities. We asked to move , the owner didn't speak English but her booking.com administrator did and was very helpful but it took 2 nights to move. 2nd room was much nicer with balcony and bigger and brighter
Location was excellent for the town and very pretty.

SwedenFirst of all we had booked an apartment with a balcony but the apartment we were given had none. When contacting the residence regarding this they told us they apparently had crossed in the wrong box. There was nothing they could to for us and told us to use the common space outside instead. We found this exact problem in a previous review and when we addressed this to the contact person, she did not even bother to address it. However we did contact booking regarding it and they were able to give us a refund for not having a balcony. Secondly, the common space directly outside the door of our apartment was used by people that used hot showers in which the residence apparently provided. This would not have been a problem expect that these people used the common space outside our apartment sometimes blocking our door. People used the space as a waiting hall for the showers, sitting there half naked and getting ready. Thirdly, the apartment was not close to clean. It was sandy with stains on the floor - dirty. Our water kettle was full of mold as there was left pasta in it. When we messaged the contact person regarding it, that was not answered either. Also there was no cleaning during our stay, change of towels, bedding or the toilet bin and no provision of toilet paper. Lastly, we did not understand how to start the refrigerator and when we asked the owner (old Greek lady that did not understand English) she helped us and told us that it was not plugged in very irritated and made hand gestures indicating that we were stupid which felt very disrespectful.
The location was good as it was close to the harbour and restaurants

GreeceThe rooms were constantly cold and the heating wasn’t working, and very humid due to the lack of ventilation in the bathroom, even when the windows were open. Not very spacious, but since it’s in the middle of the town, we spent most of our time out
The location is very good since its in the middle of Fiskardo.

United Kingdomwhere to begin! it took over an hour to find the property as it is wasn’t on the map. the owner didn’t answer the phone either. we only found it because we recognised the property from the pictures. our booking said “room 1” and there didn’t appear to be a reception so we went to room 1 where there was a key in the door and it said it was a self check in process. after about 10 minutes in the room, an aggressive old lady banged on the door and barged into the room where my partner and i were lying on the bed after showering. the lady shouted and screamed at us in Greek and forced us out of the room in only our towels. we had no idea what was going on and the woman continued to shout at us in the street where other people were hanging around. we even tried to use Google translate to no avail. the Greek lady, who we later found out is the cleaner, rang the owner of the property who told us that the issue was they had planned to upgrade us to room to room 5 but had forgotten to tell us about this. we were told since we had used room 1 we could no longer be upgraded. There was no apology offered. we went back to our room, distressed and confused about the situation. we barely slept all night due to the discomfort and woke up to find our beds infested with ants. The beds and pillows were also rock hard. we felt we had no other choice to leave the apartment the following day,a night early. we were covered in bites from the ants. since then the property owner has been unsympathetic, rude and argumentative. We have been offered a measly refund of €33 which is nothing compared to the €150 we paid. we would absolutely avoid this property in the future. if you read the other reviews (some not in English) the same aggressive woman is mentioned by multiple other people. Fiskardo is lovely but our trip was ruined by this experience. Avoid this place like the plague!

United KingdomThe old Greek lady who tried to turn us away! TBH I got the impression that she's fed up with folk taking photos of the beautiful lane. As our bags were still in the car took a while to realise we were booked in :-) This wasn't helped by the signage saying Nitsa's, not Fiori Studios. Defo the same plave though the photos match.
