We idid not expect the 'noise'. The hotel has a very expensive sound system but when the drum and base are in operation it travels right through the building and there is no escape until closing time. If you are down stairs and enjoying the music, great, if not, be warned.

Gatsby Athens is definitely deserving of their 5-star TripAdvisor rating. The hotel itself was in a great area - walkable to a ton of restaurants, bars, shops. We ate at the hotel restaurant twice and both times we really enjoyed it. The rooms were spacious and designed beautifully and the lobby/outside decorations were beautiful - we visited Athens in March so the Easter/Spring decor was up but we want to come back in the winter, even if just to see the Christmas decor. Would definitely recommend for any couples or friends traveling to Athens.

The best hotel in Athens! Very professional, supportive and caring staff. Beautiful rooms, nice design, comfy beds. My boyfriend and I always stay in this hotel when in Athens. Great location. Delicious food in the restaurant. Tasty breakfast in the morning and beautiful music with good cocktails in the evening. They have everything that you expect from a boutique hotel in the city center. And an extra like for the hotel's decorations for every holiday during the year:)

Had a leaky shower. Staff immediately addressed, but not easily repaired. A simple rolled towel at base of door resolved issue. Staff provided take-away breakfast boxes for early starts, but sadly no spoons to eat the incredible yogurt - twice.

Gatsby Athens is a charming, well-located property. Walkably near everything most tourists explore, plus near many restaurant options and nightlife. Public areas are lovely. Breakfasts were delicious and abundant. Room was pleasant, clean and well tended. Lots of hot water. Comfortable bed. But the real strength of the Gatsby Arms is its staff. Absolutely terrific. Helpful, anticipatory, kind.

Without exception, everyone is so nice. Every request and question is answered professionally and courteously. The only downside is the bar opposite which is busy till midnight and you can hear the voices and music if your bedroom is facing that way

The gym spa and rooftop bar were all closed for renovation which was only made clear a few days before our visit. The alternative spa arrangement was overpriced and inconveniently located. I wouldn’t recommend anyone visits the Hando spa location - it was not in line with the quality and level of service at the hotel.

Fabulous stay! Staff were friendly and helpful, loved the quirky decor and outstanding location. Also the food and drinks were exceptional and we loved our breakfast every morning.

The Gatsby Athens is exceptional as always, from the Decor and ambience to the central location to all of Athens top attractions. We have stayed at the Gatsby Athens numerous times and it’s as impressive as always.what stands out for me the most are the staff. You are greeted with a smile and a hello each time, asked if you need anything. Special mention to the concierge Kediako front desk staff Vasiliki, Marci and dining staff Elethiria all made our stay all that extra special. Peter & Electra

The breakfast was nice, but we preferred it to be a buffet. The menu didn’t have enough of a verity. In addition, when we asked for cleaning, they just organized the room, but didn’t clean or take out the trash. Their gym and massage were closed due to renovations, but they told us just when we arrived, I’d like to know it before hand (they offered other places in the area instead).

The hotel was very beautiful and had a unique vibe, the staff was very delightful and kind, they helped us with everything we needed with a smile on their face. It’s close to everything you could ever want in the city- shops, supermarkets, restaurants and other activities.

Breakfast is small and required several dishes to order (it's free and hotel team was super nice and we have never felt unwelcoming, but still you need to ask for several dishes, instead of one large dish or something) Hotel doesn't have any spa, sauna or hot tub

Great hotel for city travelers! Comfy rooms, luxurious atmosphere, very good breakfast, and perfect location. The staff was warm and welcoming. There is a bar on site that serves hotel travelers with a discount!
