Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The hotel is located in a quieter part of Ios literally seconds from the beach and sunbeds, and a short 10min walk to the port/bus station to the rest of the island. The views from the room are great and the staff and owners are really welcoming, and the hotel and rooms were super clean as they were cleaned daily. It's a perfect place for a quiet and relaxing stay on Ios and I would gladly return.

CanadaNothing, we were surprised and delighted by our stay!
Location is right by the port. Jannis was so accommodating and hospitable — he and the hotel staff really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The beach is directly across from the hotel which was a plus. We definitely would stay here again!

GeorgiaIf you're more focused on partying in Ios you should visit other parts of the island, this hotel is focused on leisure, so if you want quiet and relaxing stay its for you (and Chora is only 15-20 minutes by car so its still great)
Location is quite nice, walking distance of 10-15 minutes from the port. So if you plan to go near the area of port its perfect!! Special thanks to the host (staff) who did everything for our stay to be perfect!! They were super nice, they even helped out in ordering from restaurant, offered to take us to the port so we didnt have to worry about a thing! The hotel has its own sunbeds on the beach which is free for hotel guests. It's perfect for families, the sea is quite shallow so its very safe for those who dont know swimming. They also have their beach bar so all you need to do is stay on the beach for whole day and consume their delicious beverages/meals.

GermanyThe location was perfect, not too far away from the harbor and the Chora. The accommodation was very clean and quite and the Hotel Glaros offered us to use the sun beds on the beach in front of the hotel, for free..! It was obvious to us, that the "new" hotel management generation (both sons) were on the way to exceed the performance of the "old" generation (mother & father). We really enjoyed the family atmosphere and the generous hospitality.

Really cute hotel, family owned in a great area. The rooms are very clean, comfortable beds with an amazing spacious balcony with a view. They have a wonderful beach right in front and it is free. You are walking distance to the restaurants and the port, the bus to Chora center goes every 15mins and other buses to other beaches as well. The breakfast is amazing and the family owns it is so nice

GreeceWhat we didn't like was the following incident. Upon checking out, a lady that I assume is the owner, kind of told us off in a didactic tone about weird-looking blueish purple stains on the sheets. She was insinuating that we had stained them, whereas we had most certainly not. In fact, we had noticed the stains when laying on the sheets and had found them weird. All k. all, her attitude was unnecessary and left us with a bad impression. While leaving, the very polite and helpful guy that drove us back to the port told us that, before us, they had noticed pink stains from previous guests, which suggests that even if the guests are accidentally staining the sheets with their clothes, it is probably an indication that the hotel should buy better sheets or change their detergent and certainly not accuse their guests of staining them. Regardless, the hotel towels we had in our room were dark blue. So, the stains are most likely caused by such towels, not the guests. Therefore, the problem is the sheets or the towels. This off-putting incident will surely make us stay someplace else on our next visit. Totally unprofessional.
Nice location on the beach with pretty view. Also, the guy who welcomed us and drove us to and from the port was super friendly and cool.

SwitzerlandI’m kinda tall so the bed was a bit short for me, but that’s about it!
The hotel is sooo pretty, so much atmosphere, and the super kind owners <3 make you feel at home right from the start. The location is amazing, not far from the harbour and town but still in a very calm spot and directly at the beach which is one of the best beaches I visitied on the island. The à la Carte breakfast is delicious and I appreciated the healthy options (lots of eggs, fruits yoghurt). To me it’s a little paradise in the Aegean Sea.
