Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWe had a tough time regulating the temperature in our room, we were either hot or freezing. I think the smart controls were too smart for us haha.
Great location, nice room with a cool balcony. Loved the shower and the soaps/toiletries provided. Breakfast was well- stocked with a lot of options! Staff was friendly and helpful.

LebanonThere are two areas where the hotel might consider improvements: 1) offering more variety in the breakfast options, and 2) providing electrical or c cable plugs closer to the bed, as it wasn't convenient to recharge our phones from afar. P.S. We managed with the Smart lighting and air conditioning system, but it could be a bit complicated at times.
After our one-night stay at Hellenic Vibes Smart Hotel, we returned for an additional three nights, and overall, it was another great experience. We love the location of this newly renovated hotel, which is close to most tourist sites in Old Athens, as well as souvenir shops, restaurants, and nightlife. It's also just a one-minute walk to the main metro station in Monastiraki and a nearby bus station. The second thing we loved most was the friendliness of the staff. We cannot forget the black curly-haired lady at reception and her warm smile every time we passed by (unfortunately, we don't recall her name). She was very friendly, supportive, and even seemed sad when we mentioned we were heading back home.

United KingdomNothing really, all excellent, using the app also helps re some room controls but can also work without.
Brilliant location near Monastirski and many historic sites, very good too for bars, restaurants, and shopping. The hotel is very modern with great facilities, also a real design flair. We have stayed twice and will return. The staff are super helpful and knowledgeable and they also have a great transfer service to Athens Airport and Piraeus.

LebanonOur stay for one night at Hellenic Vibes Smart Hotel was extraordinary. We were connecting through Athens to Dubrovnik and opted for this hotel for one night. It proved to be the best choice for a hotel in mid-Athens, close to top attractions, and offering comfort, cleanliness, and friendly staff. They upgraded our room to a suite and prepared a breakfast box for us before we left for the airport. We are going back there today for three nights and are looking forward to another great stay, hopefully in the same room with the gorgeous Acropolis view and balcony.

KuwaitThe breakfast is basic for a 5 star hotel. Even though the hotel is relatively small, they need to work on the variations and bakery. An unpleasant incident happened when I asked about the possibility of extending our checkout time just a little bit due to our baby since we have a late flight, and the receptionist claimed that we need to checkout by 11:30 AM since the hotel is fully booked. It took me one minute to realize that I can book book 7 rooms in the same day from booking.com. This is not a way of treating guests wit no empathy in 5 star hotels. There, it is something that the management needs to work on as well.
The staff are very welcoming and the location is unbeatable. The shower is really one of the best we had in small boutique type hotels.

Puerto RicoIt was perfect!
Modern and trendy boutique hotel. Perfectly located within walking distance of almost all attractions in Athens. Tons of shops, restaurants and bars just steps away. The Manager was very kind to help me with my stay after I incorrectly booked the wrong date.

AustraliaNot a fan of the 'smart' part of the hotel. I'm more a manual person and don't want to have to use an app for everything. Some design flaws in the bathroom - the spout in the hand basin is too long, so when you wash your hands you end up with water down your front and onto the floor. The shower settings are rather harsh and push water out the door, even though it has a seal. There are only 2 wall hooks for towels, which means they don't dry (not environmentally friendly, as this leads to needing new towels every day)
Short walk from the Metro. In the centre of everything, so walking to sites was easy. Staff very hospitable. Food was good for both breakfast (buffet) and dinner (4 course menu) Comfortable bed/room with air-conditioning and good sized bathroom.

Czech RepublicOne thing that is in my mind was dinner. We have half board and for dinner I expect some greek specialties but there are less greek options than classic meal like spaghetti with seafood (nothing special), burger (only patty with french fries and classic mustard). Great was greek salad and quinoa salad. Overall there are better options all around so no need to take dinner in hotel kitchen. Meals are good, but typical Greek cuisine better find somewhere else. Although there is less options for dinner (2 salads, 2 warm appetizers, 3 main courses and 2 desserts). Problem was, that no matter what time you come for dinner, there is some meal they don’t have. In the end you could choose from 2 salads, 1 warm appetizer, 2 main meals and 1 dessert from thin selection.
The area around - Hotel is in the centre of everything. So you are able to walk to historical sites, best restaurants are nearby and everything you would like to visit or taste is close to the hotel. Even subway is about 4min out. Staff have been extremely helpful and careful. There are lots of young people and they are ready to help you with anything you need or want. Nothing is problem for them. I would recommend this hotel for everyone. Rooms are also soundproof and quiet even that hotel is in real centre. Breakfast was classic - warm or cold like in every good hotel, no problem at all with it. I think everyone find a great option what to get for breakfast. Really good coffee and fresh orange juice.

The single room is a perfect comfortable stay for 1 person. The guy who works on the night shift at the reception went out of his way to make sure I have comfortable stay. He helped wake me up by knocking at the door [as requested by me] because I cannot hear the morning call as a very deep sleeper. He also prepared the breakfast box for me despite the last minute request as I need to catch the boat to Santorini before breakfast. He even helped walk me to the station to make sure I get to the right place and not miss the boat. Without him, I woild have missed the boat for sure ! For those travelling first time to Greece and do islands hopping, make sure to prepare extra time because it would take longer than you expect to travel by train + board the boat ! I left hotel around 6:55 and my boat left at 8am. Almost didn't make it !

AustraliaNothing - this is the benchmark for a well run, customer-focused, modern hotel.
It’s not often that a hotel greatly exceeds one’s expectations in all possible ways. This hotel achieved that rare status. The engagement started before we even arrived at the hotel, with welcome messages, detailed information about services and more. Special thanks to Nikoleta for this experience. On arrival, we were given a fabulous room with all the services you could want - including great WIFI. Location was excellent too - walking distance to the Acropolis and train station, plus all local attractions. In short, this hotel is modern, well located and run by an amazingly dedicated team, who were always happy to assist by going above and beyond. Highly recommended.
