Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Absolutely lovely place. Great location. Gorgeous pool. Very welcoming, friendly staff. Food is lovely too - especially the burger! Nicely decorated hotel - very contemporary.

we stayed in a semi basement room. it was great value for money but if I was to do it again I would go for the non-basement rooms. it did not have a kitchen so if you’re travelling with small children it could be a challenge as you have to eat out or get take away every time.

It was all great!! We stayed in a room that hadn’t been modernised (like some of the others) so it was slightly dated, but not a major problem.
Honestly loved our stay. Staff were SO friendly, loungers were comfortable and food was really good.

We felt like VIPs staying here! Mike was an awesome host. Will be telling everyone who visits Ios to stay here!! Shout out to the pool bar staff as well! Burger was UNREAL! We love it

Ios Resort was amazing. Staff were unbelievably kind and helpful. They we’re super prepared and let us check in early. They had a list of amazing sites to visit as well as dinner recommendation that they were happy to book for us. They pool was incredible ! Overall super happy with our experience ! Would love to come back.

Everything was great.
The place is fantastic. Very clean, pool and pool bar were amazing. The triple executive room had amazing view of IOS Chora. Very good energy and the staff and owners were fantastic. Very polite and their hospitality made our stay unforgettable.

Super friendly Mike, Maroussa and their team make your stay at Ios Resort as comfortable and seamless as can be. Maroussa gives the best of her advice about where to go on the island. Always with a big smile. The hotel is ideally located in Chora.

The owner Mike and his sister were amazing! they gave all of the tips to enjoy Ios, they helped us booking restaurants, scooter… a complete experience! The hotel is beautiful, super clean and pleasant. Location is ideal, just in front of the main area for bars and restaurants! We loved our stay!!! Would definitely come back!

The staff were so lovely and accomodating, they had a great pool area, good food options (that tasted amazing), good location that was close to the town, clean rooms that were cleaned daily and balcony with good views of town.

The location on booking.com was incorrect. Our iPhone map took us to the wrong end of the main road.
Great swimming pool and rooms. Staff were lovely despite our late check-in. The hotel is a short walk away from Chora where everything is going on in the evenings but secluded enough to be peaceful.
