We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I was travelling alone to Athens for the first time and I chose this hostel due to very affordable price and good location. Hostel is not in strict center but if you like walking you can get anywhere within 30 minutes.The place is very cozy; there are separate toilets for men and women and a shared kitchen with a balcony. The owner was very kind and recommended some good food places. Thank you for having me !

ArgentinaLooks better in pictures, it’s not a hostel. It's an apartment re-build it like a hostel. Good relation-price, but I couldn't stay. Didn't like the vibes. The hostel didn't reach my expectations and personal problems, I couldn't stay there. .
The owner gave me the bed early, early check-in. Cool guy.

First of all it is NOT a hostal it's more of a deluxe shelter or cheap living...many live there for months weeks etc very few are travelers I have seen alcoholics crazies fights mentally unstable people in just the 4 nights I was there...the rooms are small cramped smell horrible the living space is small full of people that live there everyone has an attitude from this woman fighting with everyone me included where she snatched things from my hand saying it was hers ( I didn't know and I was cleaning the table asking who's things they were...) to her screaming at me and looking for fights with everyone ...she put horrible energy in the place she stressed everyone I left the room whenever she came in ...she asked people to literally stop talking when she walked in ( can you imagine ) to spending her time complaining and almost tried to push me once I mean this was the worst experience ever ....DO NOT GO THERE YOU WILL BE SHOCKED also be careful because they do not check your ID so nobody really knows anyone identification which isn't right fir safesty reasons ....anyone ....AVOID IT LIKE PLAGUE ...
