Located up a steep hill and surrounded by buildings built all over, around and on top of Magic View, this must be the most unattractive area of Naxos. The streets of the area get flooded everyday from the hotels that dump the soapy waters from the washing machines on the streets, making the streets slippery and a smell of an open sewer is always present in the air. The wi-fi connection is unreliable, it goes up and down every minute. Do not get the room with the shared balcony, first of all the balcony has not be cleaned in a long time (my feet got black by walking on it without my flip flops), plus, you will hear noise from the neighbors and from the other people next to you and above you. The plastic chairs of the balcony have turned to brown color (from white) after many years in the sun.. The whole place needs a coat of paint, the window and door shutters at one time used to be blue color, now they are all faded.. If you come with that 'special' person, find another place, the dumping of washing machine soapy waters on the streets in front of Magic View is enough to get that special person running to the certain luxury of a youth hostel in Chora (the main town of Naxos).

Not clean at all. Very shabby decor , felt like a hostel. Location , a bit out of town although could have lived with this if room was clean!!

Hotel is at the top of a hill so it was quite hard reaching it by feet on our arrival, if you carry lots of bags you will need to hire a taxi even tho it's a 10 minute walk from the port. The room was in a desperate need of renovation, paint on the walls was chipping, closet had a moldy smell, the window frames were so old that they were shaking and making noises all night long because of the wind. The curtains of the room were extremely old and dirty, full of rusty stains. I understand that a renovation might costs a lot but buying a new 200x240cm white plain curtain doesn't.. no amenities were provided besides two bars of soap but a hairdryer was given when asked. Small pieces oh hair were found on our beddings, sheets were washed but probably in an old/dirty washing machine or washed with lots of other sheets etc. The room was cheap but if you don't mind the view you can find better places to stay with the same budget.

10' walking from chora's center, the port and the bus station is only a short walk. quite convenient location for 1 night stay. nice see view and view of the Portara from the room's balcony. hot water was available 24hrs in the shower, wifi was working okay.

If you have mobility issues it could be a problem for you to access the accommodation. Need to upgrade tv - I don't come for the TV but I like to watch world news

Everything. Location, warm and informative welcome. Room was fabulous with fridge, kettle, balcony, glasses/cups. The view from room 3 was outstanding. I loved everything about Magic View.
