Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyBathroom! I have two main issues, when we arrived our toiled was broken (it didn't flush) so we've told the reception and the guy suggested a room change. It was ok with us, but we asked to do it after dinner cause we were hungry after the long drive. We left at 8pm and returned at 10.30 ready to change the room and go to bed BUT they've decided to fix the problem with our toilet meanwhile. Unfortunately the plumber did not finish the work until almost 11pm (and we were super tired and sleepy) and left the bathroom dirty (water, foot prints etc). WHY THEY'VE DECIDED TO REPAIR IT WITHOUT CONSULTING US AFTER PROPOSING A NEW ROOM AND FURTHERMORE LETTING SOMEONE INSIDE OUR ROOM WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE AND LEAVING A MESS? IDK. However we were tired and overlooked everything in that moment. The shower is small and the curtain lets the water out and sticks to your body sometimes
Very nice and clean rooms, maybe a little bit small if you have 2 big suitcases. We loved the terrace Good central position, be aware thar there is no parking so if you arrive by car you need to look for a parking spot nearby. Good breakfast A lot of restaurants, shops and coffee places nearby.

PolandThere were no vegan options for breakfast. No vegetables, at all. Only animal derived products. However after I have asked for, the kitchen staff brought me few slices of tomato and cucumber. The bathroom was old, and a horrible noise was coming out from pipes, every time my neighbors were using water.
The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and nice. I liked a lot the ceiling low lamp , as I needed much light for reading.

United KingdomNot the hotel's fault, but boy is Sparta noisy! It seemed that everyone with a vehicle drove it around the streets all day & all night. There were 2 pictures of an unpleasant-looking man on the walls, & so many LED lights marking switches & the radio, etc, that the whole room was lit up at night.
It's very central. It's smart & clean. Generic room size & layout. Good restaurant & very good breakfast. Staff pleasant & helpful. I had a balcony with sliding shutter door as well as sliding glass door.

IsraelHotel Rooms: The Maniatis Hotel is, without a doubt, a very basic place to stay. While it does provide the essentials for a night's rest, there's nothing particularly noteworthy or exceptional about the rooms or amenities. It's a functional choice if you simply need a place to sleep for the night, but it lacks any distinctive features or character. Parking : One notable drawback of this hotel is the complete absence of convenient parking. Given that there are no parking facilities nearby, it can be quite inconvenient, especially if you're traveling with a vehicle. This issue added unnecessary hassle to my stay.
Proximity to the City Center: On the plus side, the hotel is relatively close to the city center of Sparti. This does offer some convenience when it comes to exploring the town, dining out, and accessing local attractions. However, it might not be enough to compensate for the hotel's other shortcomings.

AustraliaBathroom size and water drainage when you took a shower. A kettle would have been good. You can get a cheaper breakfast with better quality in the square just across the road!
Location: it was central for where we picked up our rental car for a Peloponnese road trip after arriving from Athens by public bus and had great restaurants and cafes nearby. You can walk to any Ancient Sparta ruins remaining and the Olive Museum. The room was fine - typical small room but accommodated me and my adult son with twin beds. Bathroom a bit small but a verandah you could sit on. Very clean with comfy beds.

AustraliaNothing to complain about whatsoever!
The Maniatas Hotel is a conveniently and centrally-located comfortable and clean modern hotel that is great value-for-money. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very convenient for those wishing to visit the many historic attractions of Sparti, most of which are just a short walk away. The Archaeological Museum of Sparta - well worth a visit - is located just across the road, and the Archaeological Site of Ancient Sparta is less than a kilometre away. There are many restaurants, bars, coffee shops and supermarkets located just a short stroll from the hotel, and the hotel boasts a very nice restaurant of its own. The breakfast provided is also great! No parking is provided by the hotel, but street parking was not a problem during my stay.
