We liked everything but should point out that you really need a car to come to Manna Gea

Quiet rural location on the sea … you can walk through the garden to the water! The lovely owner, Nicky, couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. The room and patio were thoughtfully comfortable and well furnished with everything you might need including a fully fitted out kitchen, for a good vacation and even a self catered one if you wished. Good quality beds and seating inside and out, a nice (albeit not too large)swimming pool with good large sun loungers and large garden surrounds. Extremely quiet and on site parking. Vonitsa a small seaside town is about 5k away with plenty of tavernas to choose from.

my only gripe was that the property gardens and outdoor area were looking a little scruffy and uncared for I guess it had been a long season

Some parts of the property required refreshing and refurbishing. Believe that small things can ruin the whole view of the place and all advantages

hassle free as owner was awaiting for us at the property. we did exchange communication prior arrival to ensure that someone will be there and waiting. Easy and hassle free :-) Owner is a massively welcoming and nice person. Place - if you are looking to switched off ( but literally almost ) than this is the place. 5 minutes drive and you have a lovely village - Vonitza with great food and taverns. 30 minutes drive and you have Lefkada with all touristic vibe and Preveza with IONIAN see beaches :-)

Everything was perfect

The property is located in a very tranquil area near a beach. As soon as you arrive you can feel yourself relax. The houses are very comfortable and kitted out with all you could need for your stay. The host and staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The location is ideal if you have a car, as you can drive to the local villages for supplies or for restaurants. Four of us stayed in the house for one night only, and would have liked to stay for longer.. next time 😀

The bathroom was a bit small.

Loved the beach at the end of the garden. The room was spacious and clean. Lovely spring drinking water and great shower pressure. The host is wonderful and so kind and helpful.

This is a small oasis close to the beautiful town Vonitsa. The accommodation is absolutely wonderfull and the manager Niki is the loveliest host we ever met.

The comments on Booking didn't lie. Manna Gea is a real gem, with probably the nicest host Nikki we have ever encountered. The quiet location, direct access to the sea with private beds, clean swimming-pool, and those glamping tents. For sure we'll come back, Nikki has created something unique, and an oasis of kindness.

We're not used to sharing a pool which at times could be a little boisterous with youngsters but you can choose to go to the beach instead so win win situation.

Set in a beautiful countryside location Manna Gea is secluded but only 5-10 minutes into town by car. The views were amazing overlooking the vast garden and pool area as well as the sea/beach with private sunbed terrace to use. The host Niki was attentive and friendly, always at the end of the phone if you needed something. Her cleaning staff were polite and didn't intrude your space if you were in the apartment. The 2 dogs onsite were lovely, friendly, didn't cause a nuisance at all but acted reassuringly if something bothered them within the grounds. Vonitsa is a small town with a host of fabulous tavernas, Niki knows and recommended the best ones! And naturally is abundant with bakeries and small supermarkets.

Unstable internet access but overall was fine.

Not all light switches worked. Air conditioner in one bedroom was not working. Jacuzzi’s and pool fountain not working. No hot water but showering in cold water ok ish as so hot.

Actually, I don't know. I felt happy there.

I chose Manna Gea as a base for me and my daughter to visit Lefkada. I wanted a quiet place for us where we could spend a free day and relax if we didn't feel like going on a trip. Manna Gea is a nice place, a house in the garden, on the sea shore, surrounded by nature. It fulfilled my expectations (I had looked up the place on google maps beforehand, hence I knew it was secluded) perfectly. However, I would especially like to thank the manager Niki for her help, great attitude, wonderful communication. We couldn't have asked for a better local guide. She gave us tips on activities we had no idea about and helped us get things done. Thank you, Niki. Manna Gea felt like a home for us.

Stairs at night, we stayed in the basement for 3 nights. The pool needs steps for easy access. The steps were slippy. Whilst Manna Gea could benefit from some TLC we would go back in a heart beat.

A welcome pack with a few basic foods would have been nice. The location is superb for a tranquil stay.

I’m not sure we would have loved it so much if all the other apartments and glamming pods had been occupied!

Simply stunning location ,well designed and appointed property.Beautifully kept and owner was very helpful….even gave us the big apartment as a free upgrade! Loved the swimming pool and closeness to sea. It’s in a rural isolated location so you probably need a car ….but great base to discover the locality from and the owner was full of helpful and knowledgeable hints for day trips! We loved the isolation of it and the fact that we were the only people there!

Fantastic apartment in a small complex of 5 units, a stone's throw from a quiet beach with free sunbeds, lots of beach equipment available to borrow (dinghy, fishing rods etc) and super-friendly resident dogs. Niki (owner) checked in regularly to make sure everything was OK. We fell in love with Vonitsa, which is only a 10-15 minute drive from the apartment, plenty of bars, restaurants, a nice beach, a castle and a beautiful bridge where we spotted eagle rays swimming in the shallow waters. The apartment is easy to get to from Preveza airport and well located for trips further afield e.g. to Preveza, Lefkas, Palairos and Mytikas. Perfect spot for a chilled break.

It is quite remote so you either need a car or to book taxis. We were given a taxi number by the host on day 1 and used him everyday so it was easy and cheap enough!

Host was fantastic. Offered us tips and lifts into town. Was always on hand to answer a question we had and went out of their way to ensure we were catered for. Place is beautiful and peaceful too. We came out of season so the bar / restaurant on site wasn’t open but it was fine as we just ate in Vonitsa town (about 10 mins away).
