Host wasn't particularly friendly, although he very kindly let us stay in our apartment past check-out time because we had a late flight. Balcony could do with an umbrella, sometimes it would have been nice to sit out there but it was too hot apart from early morning and evening. Kitchen sparsely equipped, oven/hotplates old but worked ok. Kettle/toaster old and could do with replacing - barely functional.

Location was fabulous; we have visited the area before and so knew where the property was. Grounds, gardens etc all very nice. Bed comfortable, linen and towels all very clean, and replaced every few days. Cleaning staff were delightful, even put flowers in room.

Breakfast took over an hour, because our order had been forgotten, but that's life. Also not overly keen on the massive Union Jack in the restaurant/bar area, but I guess I'm not the target audience!

We only stayed for a single night, as I was travelling alone with my 5yo daughter and didn't fancy an hour's drive across the island after a midnight arrival (which turned out to be a good choice after our flight was delayed and Ryanair lost our baggage!). Helena Inn is an easy six minute drive from the airport, so very convenient. There was no one to meet us at 1am, but a phone call solved that - our keys had been left in the door for us. We got the one room that was left when I booked (and didn't use the cooking facilities), but it was a good size, even after my wife found she was able to join us and was added to the booking with zero fuss. We had a view across the olive trees to the sea, and didn't find the planes annoying for the one night we were there. The generous 11am checkout meant that I got to have a leisurely morning swim with my daughter. The pool is beautiful, with a variety of depths, and I know my daughter would have been very happy to have stayed longer.

We had second flor studio with beautiful spacefull terace facing the garden and the sea wiew, unfortunatly it was usefull during the day, becouse it has no tenda or any kind of shade...

Location, garden perfectly maintained, swiming pool area, all was like oasis in the desert, lot of space into the apartmant..

room was a little unclean (especially the toilet) and their was only 1 glass and 2 mis match mugs for a room set up for 3. fridge also wasn’t working, possibly needed plugging in but would have had to be pulled out and wasn’t worth it for our one night.

after some confusion about the booking the staff were great they allowed us to check in early and out late at no additional cost as the hotel was quiet. the room was ok, air con was welcomed in the humidity and little touches such as mosquito plug in were really useful.

As a lone female traveller, I found the location a little remote for me. This was my fault as I should have done more research on the area.

It was basic accommodation, but very clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The surroundings were beautiful.

Beds were quite uncomfortable.

Air con was great and you didn't have to pay extra for it. Safe key also included at no extra cost. We had an issue with the toilet not flushing, they sorted straight away. Room was very clean. Staff very friendly and happy to see you!

The rooms were spacious and cool and the pool had a bar with sun loungers to relax on.

Hard beds. The 2 people who are looking after the bookings and bar area are in the wrong job. Really should not be in hospitality. Their presence lowers the mood.

Lovely garden and nice pool area. Good location. Studios are nice if a little tired. Have no idea what the difference is between Helena's Studios and Helena Inn is. The same complex.

Very clean and exactly what we needed for one night. great little pool and all the staff are very friendly. close to restaurants and a little bar in n the property. great for the budget and as a stop over but probably wouldn’t recommend for an entire holiday. we are a young couple and this is very much geared towards the more mature audience.
