The apartment could have a bit of modernising, especially the bathroom. The kitchen could do with a few more basic necessities. Only other complaint would have been the pillows on the bed which need to be replaced.

Apartment was spacious and comfortable. It was quiet even though busy. The pool is a great size and the kids pool was a bonus. The onsite restaurant is lovely, the food is amazing and it was so handy having it on site and not having to go into the main area. Marietta and her family were the most lovely accommodating hosts, we couldn’t fault them.

Fab stay! Just one night but also the full day playing in the pool before heading to Paxos. Marietta and family were very welcoming, we stayed in a newly refurbished apartment which was spotless, spacious and comfortable and exceeded our expectations. The pool was great and the place has a lovely relaxed vibe, our kids loved it and made some friends straight away. Food was fresh and great for both dinner and breakfast too. Will definitely stay again and happily recommend - thanks for welcoming us and getting our holiday off to a great start!

kitchen is equipped with utensils, etc. but I missed sponge, dish soap, salt, pepper, some basic oil for safety reasons I would add handrails or fence on the right side of the pool area as there is significant level difference between the road level no shelf in bathroom to put our stuff, and the ceiling was covered with mould in bathroom These are small things, which didnt made us problem, just good to mention as room for improvement. We felt ourselves greet there. Looks better in reality than on the photos, do not hesitate to book it.

All would be great, Marietta and her family are really nice people, but at the check-out we felt like milk cows. The restaurant they have is expensive, but food is great, so fair enough about that. What was not nice was we were charged €4 per coffees we had on our checkout day when previously it was €3 and when we asked the owner to call a taxi for us, he charged €4.5 just to make a call to a taxi driver he knows to drive us to the port. And the taxi driver also overcharged us, badly. That did not ruin our holiday or anything like that, but left a bitter taste and questioning why such nice people care more about the money than customers who would return, but because of shenanigans like that they won't.

Good location, place ran by a family. Decent amenities, nice outside seating, really great pool, that's not busy. They also lent us some towels for the pool, which was great.

Little bit of a hill climb getting to the resort. You have to cross a busy main road to get to Gouvia. And that's it really.

lovely complex with a large pool with plenty of loungers. 10 minute walk from Gouvia and the beach. Small restaurant and bar which served really good home cooked Greek food and snacks and a reasonably priced well stocked bar and soft drinks. would recommend Greek nights on Friday (bit cheesy but really great fun).Marietta and her parents were really great hosts. This resort is very popular with Dutch families which we personally didn't mind and we made some new holiday friends. overall would really recommend Marrietta's.

The rudest host I have ever met in my life. She betrayed us to calling the police because we were not going to pay for an oven which was already broken. I would have regretted my booking if I had booked for the entire length of my stay on Corfu (10 days). I booked as a solo traveller but the 1 bed apartment I booked looked like it was geared for up to 4 occupants. In addition to the two single beds in the bedroom there were two daybeds in the kitchen / living room. I didn't like that there were no actual chairs to sit on as the day beds were metal framed at the back with no cushions and were too deep to sit on comfortably. I didn't prepare any food, but there were preparation facilities in the room. There was air-conditioning in both rooms, but I could only operate it in the bedroom as the remote control was missing for the living area. The units were different types, so it wasn't as if I could use one remote for both. This wasn't an issue as it was raining while I was there, but would have been annoying if I was there for longer. I'm sure the staff would have resolved it if I brought it to their attention, but I would like to think a room would be checked over beforehand. The refrigerator was very noisy. When I arrived there was only one member of staff around (there were a few people still in the bar area). He asked one of these customers to show me to my room, which was a fairly unusual approach to customer service!

I needed somewhere to stay, close to Corfu airport for one night as I was meeting up with the rest of my party who were already on the island the following day. Marietta's offered good value for money and was 20 minutes drive from the airport (I arrived fairly late at night). As I was only staying for the night and my check out time was 10.00am I didn't really have time to check out the food offering and only had a quick coffee at the bar. The woman who served me and the other customers was super friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. My room was clean with a good sized balcony.

This is a wonderful family run hotel in Gouvia. There is everything you need. Nice swimming pool, good breakfast and especially the owners are very helpful and friendly. You will feels like to stay at home. The distance from hotel to Gouvia town is just only 10 minuest walk. We have arrived 2-3 hours before check in time but they let us check in early because the room was ready, which we were so happy. Definietly come back again if we have an opportunity to be back to Corfu :)

Only minor inconvenience was the shower cubicle which was quite small thus had to be careful not to spread water around due to a tight space.

Hosts were exceptional during the stay. Marietta greeted us and took us to the apartment. The staff ensured we were well looked after and were approachable. The pool was very clean and with the restaurant/bar next to the pool, it was a lovely place to stay. The food was incredibly tasty. We ended up eating there a good few times and were always pleased with the service.

Our stay at Marietta's Resort was perfect. We were given a very friendly welcome, the room was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for a short or longer stay. The view from the room and balcony was beautiful. Communication was also very quick and uncomplicated. There are plenty of parking spaces. We would choose this accommodation again at any time!!

I wish we had known there was an airport transfer as we would definitely stayed another night.

Fantastic spot, a very warm welcome which continued throughout our stay. The room pool and Taverna were spotlessly clean. The food was also delicious, we ate here three times. The pool was also quiet so no rush for a lounger either. The rooms were lovely with a balcony off both and great air conditioning. Also the grounds were beautifully kept, a little treasure in Corfu

We arrived late from the airport (about 1am) on a Sunday and there was no drinking water for us. Thankfully I thought to ask and the host agreed to open the bar for us to get some water after our journey. We soon realised there was no way to turn on aircon and the host left my message about this on read, but didn't respond. Wasn't able to reach them by phone either. We didn't sleep very well that night as we found it too warm. The aircon was unlocked for us the next day. A few days later we were told by the host that we were overusing the aircon and that we would have to pay because there were "limits" (we only used aircon at night and were out all day every day). Thankfully they weren't trying to get us to pay for aircon when we were leaving. Regardless, a service either is included in the price of stay or isn't and there should be clarity about this to avoid any unpleasantries. Housekeeping for our room was practically non existent - they came only once in the whole week in the first half of our stay, cleaned the room and gave us new towels, but didn't change the bed sheets. For the rest of the time we had no one come in and were running really low on the toilet roll over the last few days. For anyone wondering about breakfast it is not included which wasn't what I originally thought upon booking. I suppose the "Breakfast" tag on the listing just means that the restaurant serves breakfast, but we didnt mind that. We had food at the restaurant once and it was very nice however a lor more expensive than anywhere else we ate of similar standard. Bit of a shame but I understand it is probably due to it being a small restaurant not meant to handle too many orders. Overall we enjoyed our stay but didn't find it to be such good value for money all things considered hence 6/10

Great location for going around the island with a car, no issues with parking at the hotel. Communal areas clean and well maintained. The room was spotless when we arrived. Comfortable beds, nice balcony. Tasty and well presented food in the restaurant. Pool area very clean and plenty of sunbeds for everyone. Apart from a few hiccups we had with the host, she was nice and was always working very hard at the hotel. Everyone else was friendly too.
