Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI would have liked a dresser or more closet space in our room.
The location was excellent. The beach chairs were comfortable and shady. The food was delicious and the breakfast was excellent.

United KingdomReally enjoyed our stay at Naxian on the beach. After the craziness of Mykonos, this was the perfect serene, relaxing atmosphere we were after. Though we were told the first half of August it was very very busy as this is the time Greeks take their summer holidays - so take note of this tip! There is no reception, but we were greeted at the bar with complementary welcome drinks and our luggage whisked away to our room. The room was spacious and bohemian in decor, really lovely with a balcony and plunge pool with jets. It also had strong air conditioning which was very welcomed after a long day in the hot sun. The beach is across the street from the hotel and sun beds are free for hotel guests. We were told there was service from the sun beds, but we got there a bit later in the day so I don’t think there was as much activity going on and we only saw someone when he was telling us it was last call. We stayed on the sun beds until sunset two nights in a row - it was too magical to miss! There are great restaurants within walking distance and we chose to eat in the hotel one night and got the catch of the day - it was excellent. The breakfast was made to order (no buffet) and superb, the coffee was strong. Service is slower, but this was fine as we were not in a hurry and enjoyed the leisurely meal. On our last morning we had to catch an early ferry and the kitchen kindly made us up some yogurt and granola to go. Getting around Naxos and into town is easy - just take the No. 9 bus which stops about a 5 min walk from the hotel and drops you in town / near the port. Runs every 30 mins. We used this often as it was €2 each way pp vs. €25 for a taxi. Overall, Naxian on the Beach is an excellent spot and we were so sad we had to leave it - highly recommend!

United KingdomA little far away from the town (not that you need to go and you switch that with being on the best part of the beach)
Paradise in Naxos! Such a lovely chill vibe at the bar and the rooms. Staff where 10/10 couldn’t do enough for you and at your every need. Decor was tasteful and felt like I was on a Caribbean island, location was perfect right on the best part of beach (30 second walk) even the cats where the best behaved and the cutest on the island! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and highly recommend for anyone in Naxos!

FranceThe only thing that would have really made it a top notch experience is if the music played in the restaurant and on the beach was improved. It was far too loud and quite dated. It was a bit tacky Mykonos 20 years ago and it was the only thing that lacked class. If that was improved It’d be brilliant.
The place was done with taste and very good, with attention to detail and lovely staff. The manager was elegant, generous and very hospitable and the staff really made the stay great.

United KingdomNothing.
Great location being on the beach but also a 5 minute walk from some of the best restaurants on the island. Staff were very friendly and helpful with organising day trips for us such as hiring a car and a boat. Room was lovely. Beach beds were very comfy and as long as you got to them before midday you can secure a front row spot.

PortugalWe booked the sea view room with jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi was not working and they didn't fix it during the stay. It didn't bother us at all, but it's something to point out.
The location of this hotel is amazing! It's probably the best beach in all Naxos and it has so many restaurants near it, however the hotel is situated on an area where it's less crowded so you have more privacy. And you have a higher sense of luxury. You can rent a car with the hotel, the street where the hotel is, has a lot of restaurants. The beach is amazing, long area, clear calm waters. You have free access to the beach beds if you're a hotel guest. The breakfast is not a buffet but it's AMAZING, you can order everything from the menu as many times as you want, everything is aesthetically pleasing. Totally would recommend for a calmer and a bit more luxurious stay. They offered us a bottle of wine and a fruit bowl upon arrival. The staff was super friendly all the time, specially the two boys from Australia, they know what they're doing. I'm recommending this one for sure!

United KingdomThe open high closet was awkward and limiting. More storage space is required. The spa was too full which meant water overflowed when wanting entered it.

DenmarkWords can hardly describe the wonderful experience we had. I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to support this fantastic place. From the bar staff to the food service and the beach staff, everyone was incredibly friendly. This is the most well-rounded hotel I've ever visited. The decor is beautiful, a perfect blend of boho chic with local elements that respect the natural landscape. The food was incredible, from breakfast to dinner, and it's a huge plus that breakfast is served until 11:00 AM. The cocktails were unique and delicious, accompanied by great beach lounge beats that added to the Tulum vibe. The beach itself is stunning, with soft sand and crystal-clear, calm waters. The hotel's beach setup is a true gem, and the beach staff were attentive and wonderful. Yiannes did a fantastic job managing the beach area and was always lovely. A big shout-out to Sam for welcoming us and accommodating us beyond our expectations. The attention to detail was remarkable—we never had to worry about cleaning, as they always took care of it when we were out, allowing us to return to a relaxing atmosphere after a day at the beach. Sam remembered our orders in the morning, and Vessilis and Erikos constantly reminded us to relax. Special thanks to the entire staff for helping to set up the perfect beach proposal. We could go on about all the good things, but there are just too many to list. This place is special to us now, and we will definitely be coming back.

United KingdomNothing really. The bubbles in the tub stopped working during our stay (all tubs were affected) but it didn’t matter especially. We still had the little pool to escape the heat when we needed to.
Loved this place - the location, right on glorious Plaka beach, is idyllic. The rooms are stylish and the hotel bar and restaurant very cool. Staff are also lovely. Most comfy bed or our stay - we slept so well as it was so quiet.

South AfricaWe had taken the top-end room and there was just no where to unpack your things. There was hanging space, but no shelves or drawers and not much space next to the sinks for toiletries. We were there for almost a week and having to live partially out of a suitcase.
The breakfast was great, the location is absolutely superb. You are right on the beach and there are lots of lovely restaurants in walking distance. The bus stop for the local bus which can take you further along the Plaka Beach and/or into Naxos town, is also close by. A place that hires out all kinds of water sports equipment, as well as, for example, windsurfing lessons, is walking distance away. A wonderful place to relax. The staff were also attentive, friendly and efficient.

United StatesThe toilet door was a glass door that didnt close all the way. So you could see through the slit from the door and wall. It was just me and my husband but still would prefer a proper closed door for the toilet. I also thought that for such a high star rated hotel that transportation from the airport/port should have been arranged or communicated to arrange. But they didnt answer by email.
The staff was very laid back and helpful. The one server was a one man wonder (Maricelo). He was there everyday just taking care of the restaurant and also helping other guest with things. He was a treat!

United StatesAmazing location on Plaka beach, great restaurant with really good food. Perfect 'beach club' on the beach side with also good menu (different from main restaurant). Overall a really relaxing and great experience. My wife and I loved it. The beach and water are to die for, crystal clear and so refreshing. Food tip: Another guest recommended we go to a restaurant that's just a couple of properties north called "Petrino" for traditional Naxian food. It was amazing! The Tortuga Bar food (at the hotel) is very very good, but also check this taberna for the traditional version. Also, try to walk north to get to the Agia Anna Agios Nikolaos beach, where there are some rock formations. Very cool to swim in. However, this is a nudist beach, so be aware of that ;)

Amazing property in an idyllic location. We enjoyed this property from the very second we arrived. Staff were very helpful, giving us a lovely welcome drink and assisting us with our luggage. They also gave us a detailed list of activities and restaurant recommendations. The room was beautifully decorated and our balcony was brilliant. The property is situated on the west coast and we had an amazing view of the sunset each night. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. The beach was beautiful and had complimentary front row sunloungers reserved for hotel guests. One of the top hotels I’ve stayed in and cannot wait to come back.

PortugalThe bed could have been more comfortable and, definitely the bath tub doesn't make any sense with the water sprinklers coming out of the bottom, it is a trip hazard when having shower and even if you want to use the tub as a jacuzzi, you can't because you cannot seat, the Sprinklers are out from the tub base.
Staff is very kind and professional. The location is very good, just in front of the beach and in the most quiet area of the as well. Having the first row of beach chairs reserved for hotel guests it is an excellent treat. The Tortuga Restaurante food is excellent, starts at Breakfast and follows with Beach Menu and Restaurante All Day Menu. Simple bit refined selection of food and all well prepared.
