The heat and especially the hot water were very spotty.

Location, location, location! God help if you decide to stay inside Monemvasia - we saw several hapless tourists lugging their stuff up vertiginous staircases for hundreds of feet. Best to stay in Gefyra and take a bus. The proprietress is absolutely lovely, if a bit hapless, and the breakfast buffet is very nice.

Wonderful breakfast. Comfy bed, great view to the sea, great terrace. Walking distance (about 20 mins) to the old town of Monemvasia.

Group of youngsters down stairs that were very rowdy, which disrupted the setting. No.kettle for a cuppa

Some of the bathroom fixtures were a bit tired.

We had a very large bed, and a balcony with a table and a view of the rock. There was a swimming beach immediately across the road. The owner was very friendly. We had an excellent and reasonably priced breakfast.

On the crowded road, rooms need some updates.

Rooms are dated. There is some noise from nearby but ok by 11 or so.

Location and value were great. We had a sea view balcony and you could not ask for a better private view. Staff was friendly, breakfast was averagebuts great value. No major complaints especially for only staying one night.

Great view from the room, overlooking the Castle and next to the beach but quiet... Really liked the breakfast as well - rich and tasty... You can even walk to the castle from there... Mateo's restaurant nearby is great as well

The only downside was that the water in our shower never really got hot, it was barely warm.

The room was very comfortable and the location was very convenient. Street parking in front of the hotel was readily available when we stayed there in late-April. The breakfast buffet was very good with all the usual items for a Greek hotel breakfast: yogurt, honey, olives, meat, cheese, eggs, various breads, etc.

Everything was fine

Nice hotel on the edge of the small town, across the causeway from old town. The room was clean, water pressure and hot water good, breakfast buffet was good, the owners are friendly and helpful. Parking is easy and free, good dog walking along the beach with a fine view of the rock. We stayed here one night. We are full time travelers with a dog and a car.

The woman at reception was really lovely. Our room had a large balcony that looked out to the sea. And the location was fabulous.

View from the balcony. Friendly staff. 5 minute walk to the causeway. Lots of restaurants, shops and bus station just as close. Accommodated our request for a view and a double bad. Gave us breakfast to take away the day we left early for Athens Comfortable bed and housekeeping was excellent
