Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyPyrgos of Mystra exceeded our expectations. The place where it is located is very close to the points of interest in the area and at the same time it is located in a very quiet and beautiful spot, right in the orange groves. Our room was clean, quiet spacious and had exactly what one needs for a relaxing stay. The very positive aspects are the kindness of Ms Maria the owner and the staff in general, as well as the very good and rich breakfast that the owner herself prepares and serves. Everything here shows that there is love and passion and attention to the detail. Highly recommended!

United States Minor Outlying IslandsNothing -- the hotel exceeded our expectations by far.
Pyrgos of Mystra is a renovated 1850 mansion. It is now a small luxury hotel. (it has 11 rooms). The original architecture is preserved. We had booked two rooms. Both rooms were spacious with exceptional view. Two of the four windows were overlooking the mountains and the other two were overlooking the orange trees of the property. Breakfast was included. It was buffet and was prepared daily prepared daily by the staff using local produce. The terrace was simply beautiful. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. As for the location: it was amazing: very close to the Venetial castle for which Mystras town is known for. We have already made reservations for our 2024 trip to Greece.

United KingdomThe hotel is a little difficult to find if using Google Maps. It isn't immediately obvious the building is a hotel from the exterior.
Staff are excellent and very helpful. Great restaurant recommendation! Lots of choice at breakfast and very tasty. Rooms are very spacious with very good air conditioning. Hotel grounds are beautiful too. Awesome base to explore Mystras.

FranceVERY SAD to leave as we only spent one night. It is IMPOSSIBLE to critisize this EXTRAORDINARY magical place. NOTHING went wrong and our special thanks to the staff, especially MARIA.
I wrote an earlier review which you can delete please. It was due to a misunderstanding. We were AMAZED by the surroundings, the tasteful decoration. Excellent equippment; superb LANDSCAPED garden with its profusion of orange and lemon trees and beautiful roses among other flowers. The room and the bathroom were luxurious (best shower during the whole trip!). Excellent and varied breakfast served in a magnificent dining room which gives numerous clues about the history of the place. The hotel and its surroundings exuded an air of peace and calm. Our hostess MARIA is a WONDERFUL person, warm and welcoming. I was so very sorry to LEAVE this place and I would LOVE to return if I can and stay at least 3 nights!

Greecethe bathroom overhead shower in the cabin is only useful for people less than 1,6 m tall. The window to the bedroom is small due to its architectural heritage with a partial view of the mountain. However it lacked a screen, so even though there was a nice cool breeze from the mountain we were forced to use the air con to prevent insects from entering the room. Would have preferred the fresh air instead. Would have preferred to have breakfast at the oudoor garden area including a variety of freshly cut fruit. The cold cuts and cheeses were mediocre, would have preferred some local cheeses and meats as well as local pies.
The room had high ceiling tasteful decor and furniture, lots of space for the bedroom as well as the bathroom. The bathroom had lots of amenities provided including robes and slippers. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were large made of latex. lots of cover options such as comforter, thin cotton blankets and sheets available. The backyard garden is in the middle of an orange grove where we picked some sweet and juicy oranges. The breakfast room and furniture is in line with the building architecture. the breakfast buffet had lots of items mostly preserves and cakes and cookies. The OJ was fresh and so were the served eggs we requested. Plenty of coffee and tea available on request. Overall the two ladies Pany and Maria were very friendly and gave us good dining recommendations in nearby villages.
