Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe place is old, but not enough investment in the renovation has been made. The bathroom in the rooms are pretty old and no matter how much they clean it, it doesn’t feel clean. also it lacks ventilation. The restaurant, needs better cleaning for the dishes, especially when it is busy, you can find many half cleaned plates and cutlery. The food, was missing labels, so you had to guess what’s in it. Not many options for kids (just spaghetti every day and rarely some chicken nuggets).
The location was great! really nice view. The pool and water park was good and we really enjoyed. The staff were lovely and nice programs every night. The room was comfortable, the air conditioner was great. Beds were comfortable, and wifi was good compared to other hotels I have been into. The bar in the lobby was good and really nice drinks. The food was OK and snacks at the pool bar was also fine! overall, a good place for a family trip and getting away from busy life!

United KingdomI thought the entertainment could have been better. The same thing was on every day so if you’re not a water polo or volleyball fan you struggle to get involved. Outwith b’fast lunch and dinner there wasn’t much to eat which was disappointing. Just a slice of water melon or a donut and the drinks were a bit uninspiring and nothing branded.
Loved the Royal part of the hotel. We upgraded to one of their rooms with a private pool and it was amazing. Made the holiday. The reception stafff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Really liked them. The waiting staff worked so hard! Never seemed to get a day off and they all worked breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lovely clean rooms every 2nd day which I thought was fair enough as they don’t have to be done daily.

SerbiaFood is below avarage. Restaurant seams quite dirty. Also, I have never seen anybody cleaning toilets (or addinng soap) as well as pool area. To get a drink (even water for a child) at evenings is a nightmare! It means standing in line for at least 15 minutes while 2 persons at the bar are taking their job very relaxing.
Good location, the whole place is very photogenic. It is very good that you can use hotel beach with hotel beach bar (Maria that works there is the best!). Ladies at reception are also very nice.

United KingdomNot much to do around the hotel Dinner options were awful! Not a lot of choice and not very child friendly options apart from things like plain pasta and chips Could do with labelling the options at the buffet as vegetarian etc
Lots to do for everyone, entertainment staff were lovely. Breakfast & Lunch options were decent. Very well maintained and clean throughout Water park was a lot of fun Lots of drink options- however staff at the main bar located in the reception weren’t very friendly and there’s only 2 of them there in the evenings which leads to long waiting times Well located beach

United KingdomThe food was absolutely terrible, we ate out a few times and we were all inclusive. Left over dinner carrots for breakfast, fatty poor quality meats, dry fish, stale bread, terrible tea and coffee, crap beer....the list is endless.
The pools and slides were great.

United Kingdomtiled surrounds of main pool very understaffed which leads to other issues like food not being replenished quick enough or surfaces serving spoons etc not looking fresh food ok, nothing special not really any entertainment can’t just grab food during the day and have to queue and be served
we had a room with its own pool which was a god send considering the main pool has tiled floor all round and a number of people slip over on it. We saw 4 within our first 2 hours on day 1. water park for younger kids is great.

ItalyThis is the most magnificent hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff is wonderful, the location is excellent, and the views are incredible. We were impressed with how great the service was. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and plan to stay here should I come back to Rethymno town.

United Kingdom1. Cleanliness of the rooms (cobwebs, brown stained base of toilet, holes in sheets, lack of ventilation) 2. Location of hotel is about 20/25mins by bus to the town centre and bus times given are inconsistent. 3. Food was hit and miss with nothing labelled and lacked variety. 4. General maintenance of the property and room was poor and tired. Could become quite dangerous. 5. Not easy to get to the beach and the road it crosses isn’t very safe even using the best access available.
We are an easy going family of 4 (2 children aged 4& 6). If you are expecting a 5* hotel then you will be very disappointed. It is a 3* hotel and I arrived expecting 3* based on the reviews. If you breakdown per person the price of the hotel as an all inclusive package it’s actually good value for money. Ours worked out about £100pp which includes food, snacks (ice cream/pizza/donuts/fruit) alcoholic/soft drinks, shared private pool and accomodation for this price we thought this was actually quite good. So to sum up what we liked 1. Pool (we had a shared private pool to ourselves) 2. Cocktails and Rose wine 3. Towels and sheets changed every couple of days. 4. Views and upstairs pool vibe and atmosphere 5. Spa staff and treatments 6. Fruit and desserts were nice

United KingdomThis is not 5* hotel! The food option are very limited, I couldnot believe how little there was. Our bathroom was smelling terribly and the bath was leaking. Kids club is just there but nothibg is going on. Children are left there on its own. Very slippery around the pool, we have seen older lady falling, definitely something should be done.

United KingdomWe had our worst holiday ever. We booked a family suites with private pool, the room description says it comes with a large double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed but the room only had a large double bed and a bunk bed. On our arrival my 3 years old climbed the bed, the side on the top was not secured properly, he fell off the bed on hard flooring and rushed to emergency, he was hospitalised for 3 days and xray and CT scan shows a fractured sinus. The hotel manager had no sympathy and took no responsibility. He said “the bunk bed secures with a key”, i asked him to come to the room and show me such a key, there was nothing he could show me, in fact the bunk bed was a convertible sofa bed which is not safe and secure for children when it’s converted to bunk bed. I asked him to move us to the room that was supposed to be given in the first place, a family suite with private pool that comes with a large double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed. These rooms with these description are located on the other side the resort, he moved us there but my son had to pay a big price for their irresponsibility in providing safety for their clients. Since then they have changed the description on their family suite rooms with private pool, now it says the room comes with a double bed and a sofa bed, they have learned their lesson not to convert the sofa bed to bunk beds but are refusing to pay any compensation. Not to mention the resort is more like a 3 star resort with repetitive breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.
