Hard to find the place, no cooking ware and washing machine unfortunately.

Great place to stay overall, location is right beside karterados which is really near to Fira, the centre of Santorini. Hosts are also really friendly and accommodating, felt really welcome. Nice and comfortable place to stay, would recommend!

Nice and comfy accommodation, with a very friendly host, which greeted us with a few sweets, water and wine. The pool was the highlight, obviously. Even though it's not a perfect accommodation, I have never seen so many unfair reviews. So, my thought of 9.5 will be turned into a 10, to rectify a bit of others' unfairness.

Nothing, everything was perfect! We wanted to stay in Oia first but we are happy we changed our minds and that we stayed in this place.

We had amazing stay in this place! Everything was perfect :) The check in was very easy even that we arrived late (around 1 am) and our plane was delayed. The host arranged for us taxi service from the airport which was very convinient at this time. We recieved the keys from the mother of the host, and she was amazing. Very talkative and helpful. She gave us some advices about restaurants in Santorini. In the room was 2 bottles water and bottle of wine which was very nice welcome gift. The host helped us to organise renting of buggy. And as well the was no problem with late check out or leaving our suitcase in the storage room. Location is perfect if you gonna rent a car or scooter as it is exactly in the middle of the island so close to everything.

Some of the best hosts we’ve ever had! The hosts were so welcoming and happy to organise things for us (transfers, day trips etc) The accommodation was good and had everything that was necessary. Only 10min walk from the bus stop at Karterados which buses run ever 15mins till midnight. (£1.60 singles to most places on the islands) Would recommend this place in the future

Some things could be cleaned better and some furnishings were a little cheap. The pool is not shared and is for one of the more upgraded units.

The family who owns the place is so nice and welcoming! They live right next door and are there to help if you need it. It is such a nice view from the room and it is very close to Fira. You can walk easily to a bunch of shops and cafes, the bus stop is not too far either.

Beautiful place, exactly like the pictures. So glad to have booked it. The place has a big balcony, a comfortable big bed, all modern amenities and the pool was the best. We felt like we were the only ones around, it was so very relaxed and peaceful. Merilana was incredibly patient and prompt with all questions anytime of the day. She and her family are excellent hosts. They are so warm and cheerful. We were a bit tired from the hairpin bends by the port, Merilana's mom arranged wine and other refreshments most thoughtfully. She answered all questions before we could even ask them and invited us over for coffee and offered optional activities. What lovely people and place! We almost didn't want to leave. It was a memorable holiday. Exactly what we needed to get away from the stress of work. The location is a bit off beat but Google Map has accurate location. You get amazing privacy and private car park as soon as you step into the property ground. The village with lovely eateries is walking distance away. We greatly appreciate everyone at Rêver Caves for making our short time in Santorini truly special.

We booked this listing on purpose because it has a quite nice pool. We were really disappointed to find out we cannot use it since it's private for Room 3. As it turned out, only the listing of that room included the usage of the pool, and since it was booked by the time we chose ours, we didn't read that obviously (there wasn't any mention of it among the details of our room). So all in all, I would recommend writing at least something like "doesn't include the usage of the pool" to the details of the other rooms, because I don't think it's fair to show a bunch of pictures about the pool on the listing and then just making it private without saying anything.

The owners were absolutely kind and the place was super clean. They were also so nice to bring us water, wine and some crackers beforehand. The apartment is located in a quiet area, Fira (the capital) is only about a 20-minute walk away.

I was so disappointed that upon check-in, I discovered I didn’t have access to the pool. When booking on booking.com there are many pictures of a dreamy pool which made me feel like I would have access to it. I was notified when I arrived that you have to book that specific room (at a higher charge). From others reviews, I’m not the only one who made this mistake so *DOUBLE CHECK AND ASK THE HOST ABOUT THE POOL BEFORE YOU BOOK* I gladly would have paid extra, but when I made my booking on the mobile app, I don’t recall there being more than one room or price option to book with or without pool, which means maybe the room with a pool had already been booked. It would be helpful for the host to include a simple line in the advertisement saying *not all rooms include pool access* to indicate this to guests during booking. The shower area in my room was a new experience (but might just be a common thing in Greece). I felt very uncomfortable splashing and spraying water over the entirety of the bathroom each time I showered due to the lack of an enclosed shower space. There was no daily room service to change soaking wet towels or mop the floors from the wet mess that showering made each day. This is abnormal in my country, but maybe more of a reflection of how things are done in Greece as I have now stayed at 2 other accommodation ma with similar bathroom layouts. Less of a reflection on the host, and more of a heads up for other guests travelling to Greece. I knew I didn’t want to stay in Oia, but if I travel to Santorini again, I would stay closer to Fira next time as doing all of my travels on foot was harder in this town than other islands.

The property is located about 30mins walk from Fira, so you can visit the town of Fira and bus to Oia, Kamari, Perissia, etc. There are many options for food in Karterados (less than 10min walk). Overall, if you want a relaxing place away from the crazy busy tourist chaos of Oia and Fira at a more reasonable rate, stay here, but I would highly recommend renting a car or ATV unless you are up for walking to everything.
