Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanySewage smell in first room
Beautiful property, but our room was in the “old” building. Super nice staff. Good, cheap restaurant. Cold A/C. A bit far from Corfu centre but easily accessible by one bus (#7 I think?) and only €3 or so. Our first room (405?) smelled like sewage. Very strong smell in the morning and some liquid came up from drain the the floor, we quickly asked to be moved but were told the hotel was full but they’ll see. I insisted a few hours later (we were willing to move hotels) and a room upstairs in the same building was provided and we were much more comfortable there. I know islands have sewage and drainage issues and you cannot flush toilet paper here it must be put in the trash. But this building really needs done attention and upgrade like the rest of the property.

SwitzerlandThe room was big, as I mentioned before, but the furniture was sparse, and it felt empty. It was also very outdated, and the mattress was extremely hard. The bathroom is very, very basic. No toiletries are provided except for a multipurpose shower gel/shampoo bottle fixed to the shower wall, which also doubled as hand soap as they did not provide any. Even when I asked, I was told to use the one in the shower. The music at the restaurant during dinner was extremely loud. It was a weird vibe because, from the music, you would have thought it was a party hotel, but the guests were mainly elderly couples and families with young children. It was very confusing.
I stayed here for one night before a sailing boat trip. The common areas of the hotel are very nice: the garden is stunning, the pool is great, the bar was very good too and they served food all day, the reception and restaurant where breakfast were served were lovely and filled with light. Room size was great and air conditioning worked well.

United KingdomRoom was slightly dated but did the job. Had a beautiful balcony that looked out over the garden and swimming pool. Stunning way to relax after a day sightseeing.
Beautiful hotel, hidden away from the main resort. Very peaceful and calm. A perfect location to get to Corfu old town and to Dassia.

MaltaI believe that the management can improve the quality of this hotel to provide an added value. The breakfast is acceptable but the quality and choice of items can be improved upon, There was no kettle and supply of tea, coffee and milk in the room. When we asked for the ironing facility we were provided with but couldn't keep it in the room. There is no AC at the reception and the receptionist (who's very helpful) is sweating from early morning!
The Saint Nicholas Gouvia location is about 15 to 20 minutes by car to Corfu Town. The resort is a gem with a very large pool and ample parking space. A car is a must to reach Corfu attractions. The room was highly spacious with acceptable facilities.

SloveniaWe like the hotel itself and especially the surrounding of it. The hotel is situated in the calm neighborhood. It has a nice bar/restaurant with a view to swimming pool and property. It also has a free parking lot. The location is nice - 5 minutes walking to the main street and 10 to the closest city Gouvia.

BelgiumNot that I didn’t like it but the only thing that might’ve been a bit of an issue was the fact that it was ‘so far up the hill’. But even that wasn’t really an issue honestly.

HungaryThe property has two buildings, one new and modern one with the reception in it and an old looking building with smaller rooms, since the bathrooms don’t have windows the air gets very heavy inside and the room was so moldy even under the bed. The receptionist was helpful and after we complained we got a new room at their new building which was way more comfortable and cleaner. But they really need to clean the showers properly because there is limescale on the tap and on the showerheads too.
The hotel has a big, well organised, beautiful garden with two pools and sunbeds, the main building looks clean and spacious.

To top it up, there was watermelon, mixed fruit and yoghurt. Beverages was tea, coffee, cappuccino, latte, and fruit juices. What more can I say!!
