Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaGood for what you pay. Great location, showers and toilets are fine. Music would be loud if your room was close to the pool but a lot of the tents are far enough away. Tents can get hot but that’s expected in mid August. A small fan is provided. Can get wifi next to the pool only.

United StatesThe female dormitory room was crowded and dark. There were no reading lights or individual power points or usb ports. The lower bunks did not have enough height to sit up, although there was plenty of height in the room for taller bunks. There was little space under the bunks to store luggage, although there WERE lockers instead. There was no place to sit down. The kitchen in the camping area did not have any method to heat or cook anything. There was very little cutlery and no plates, bowls or cups or glasses.
Location was very excellent! Staff were friendly. The washroom blocks for the camping areas were very good. There was even space for doing and hanging laundry. Or you could pay to have it done for you. The kitchen had two sinks and two refrigerators and some pots and pans. The dorm rooms had a little space in front of each with tables and chairs and discreet clothes lines.

United KingdomI stayed in a 6 bed dorm which was okay but quite small. There were also inly 4 lockets for 6 people. The beds do not have plug sockets, curtains or small lights next to them. We shared an extension lead in the room.
The location is good as is about 5-10 min walk into Fira with lots of Restaurants and Bars and where you can get the bus to the port and other beaches. The pool was a great addition. There were 2 toilets and a showers as an ensuite which were clean and good to have attached to the room. There is also a fridge to store things in as it is a camping site too.

GermanyThe receptionist cheated me gave them 80€ deposit and returned me 50€ in the end. Although the boss returned me the rest 30€. But the experience was really really bad. They cheated me because they saw I was alone and scatterbrained. This behaviour made me unsafe to live your hotel even to tour in this place.

AustraliaBe ware the restaurant scam! NO discounts unless you want to spend hundreds on drinks! I went to the restaurant recommended by the camp office with my check in number, I checked with restaurant staff before I sat down for the 15%. The waiter confirmed it, but when I paid the bill, they said no discount, because I didn't order drink and bread! They showed me the other customers ' bill, who spent hundreds on drinks! They got discounts! I only order a main dish! I don't drink and don't eat bread in the evenings. I came back to the camp and told the receptionist, he said that he didn't know that. A local total the restaurant and the camp are the same owner. The local said that how things work there, everything is about money, they may only scam a few Euros from, but a 100 people would would make a few hundred Euros!
Good budge price. Location is good

United StatesCharge to leave luggage after 14:00. Plastic cover on bed mattresses that are a little noisy. Not much else not to like.
Good location about 10 minutes walk from center of Fira town. There is always a bus that will take you from the port to Fira and back 24 hours a day. The schedule depends on ferry arrival and departures. I arrived by ferry at 02:30 AM and the bus was waiting to take us to Fira. The hostel is nice with a great pool and a nice vibe. Lots of people hanging around the pool area, restaurant, and mini market. The staff was very helpful with late check in and luggage storage the next day. At this place you must pay for any extras (locker, luggage storage after 14:00). Internet included. The 8-bed room (men only) was full. Guest were quiet and respectful. The beds all have a plastic mattress protection which may be good for hygiene, but you hear the plastic every time someone moves in bed. Bathroom in room was clean. Overall a good option for a less expensive place to sleep in very expensive Santorini.

Comfortable beds, good location to the busy station and Fira town centre. The tent was in the shade so much cooler than we thought it would be. Supermarket on site was useful and space in the tent was larger than we expected.

AustraliaThe floor in rooms were a little dirty and the mattresses have a plastic case around them which can be a little loud until you put a sheet on them.
The staff were fantastic, and very helpful both in figuring out what to do while on the island as well asn answering any and all questions I had. The Restaurant food was good and the little shop was useful as you didn’t have to walk into town of a night to get things. The location was very close to the town in Fira which had good restaurants and shopping. The location is only a few hundred meters form the main bus station of Fira as well, which is where all the busses on the island leave from so it was very easy to just catch a bus to get to various places on the island. The pool was great and there was lots on offer to do in the area. It was really good value. The rooms could have been a little cleaner but besides that it was a great place to stay.

ChinaIt was too noisy, many yong people that don't sleep all night plays DJ,the sound is SO LOUD that I can't sleep, but the sound of the fan could cover it. there is a swimming pool but the water is not so clean, and the water in the shower room is hard to contrl.
I like it very much, the camp was very close to nature and there are cats around the camps. the camp was also very close to the bus station ,you can go there by foot.

New ZealandYou get what you pay for.. we picked a permanent tent. Cheap but pretty average. Could hear others talking and alarms in tents next to us. Beds were pretty hard and sheets very thin. Very hot but gave us a fan. One power plug though so couldn’t charge anything and use fan at same time. Bathrooms were a bit unclean, couple toilets didn’t have toilet seats. If travelling on a budget, would stay here again. Pool makes it worth it.
Great pool, best part of the stay. Close to bus stop Friendly and helpful staff Bar and food on property was handy. Enjoyed the ‘special pizza’
