Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe property manager was excellent and prompt, he met us on the first day after a few what’s app exchanges. The room was spacious and private, as well as very quiet which was great on such a popular island! Bed was comfy and outdoor space was huge and private.

Everything. Not one bad word can be said about this property. From Andreas (the host) service to how immaculate the villa is, I would highly recommend!! It's worth your money and their sister restaurant Raki serves delicious food. We had hosted a bachelorette party and I really must say Andreas has been so helpful with our needs. He has suggested the amazing bars, spots and restaurants that made our holiday! What a great genuine person, thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

CanadaA little out of the way of major city centre, but easy enough to get around by public bus.
Property was gorgeous. Within walking distance of the town square. Little private pool was great to cool down in, and the privacy of the villa was nice.

AustraliaThe no cooking rule is ridiculous, no AC in half the spaces really poor for the price, no facilities for drying wet clothes, ie fold out rack. No plate drying rack, 1 small tea towel yet this is a space for 10 people. Towels were unnecessarily washed when not on floor - despite claims to be eco. Peeling plaster here and there. Room price for 10 people max and we booked for 8 but added 2 more (total 10), still used all the beds and not much else but had to pay extra anyway.
Positive stuff is easy! Lovey vibe, comfy beds, great pool, nice little village.

United KingdomBecause of the name, Ducato Wine Village, we thought we were going to stay on a winery - unfortunately not. We were staying in a self-catering apartment but we had no means at all of making a basic meal e.g. toast (no toaster) or a bowl of cereal (no bowls) only a kettle and a coffee machine - and a sign on the wall saying 'no cooking in the villa/apartment'. Luckily 5 very good restaurants nearby - 1 of which was where we were supposed to buy breakfast, apparently, but no idea which one. Drainage not good in the bathroom so, after a shower, the floor had puddles on it all the time - not a pleasant way of getting to the loo. We feel it was very overpriced for the facilities provided. However, our hostess/representative was brilliant. She helped us out with a taxi a couple of times and made sure we knew she was available at any time, night or day. She was not incharge of villa description or pricing.
The village was lovely and quiet and had 5 very nice restaurants. Also enjoyed the beach at Perissa.

NetherlandsThe pool area is too shaded and there’s too much leaves. The gazebo doesn’t look clean. There’s no place to chill and tan which is a waste considering the pool looks so nice. The sun doesn’t get to the water too much so the pool as freezing
The villa is located in a wonderful area of Megalochori. Close to restaurants and a wine tasting place. Bus station is about 10 mins walk and there’s a bakery too. Service was friendly and rooms were nice

AustraliaThe photos are very deceiving, there is no pool, no spa, it looks nothing like the photos. Although the accommodation is nice, it is nothing like what we thought we were paying for. Extremely disappointing. The 4th room was outside and was VERY hot and uncomfortable. Overall, disheartening to find that the accommodation was nothing like the photos.
Comfortable beds.

CanadaToo much people on this island! Exterior is not clean (didn't want to sit outside because of it), no sun and pool is cold but it was at the end of may. Might be a better value for your money later in june. Paint was falling off the ceiling right over our heads in the bed. They have many villas so you don't really know which you're gonna get from the pictures.
Traditional and authentic! Quiet village!

United StatesCould not easily find ducato wine villas at all! Walked around for a while. They told me they did not have a phone number for the hotel but finally someone got a hold of them for us and then met up for the keys eventually. Ducato needs better signage for sure. Also WiFi did not work at our villas so I could not even tell the host via WhatsApp.
The breakfast at raki was delicious but the waiter had no idea that we got a free breakfast with Ducato wine hotel so maybe more communication on their parts.

ColombiaRooms had shared bathrooms which is unacceptable for this price tag. Air conditioners were portable units that have the exhaust pipe inside the room, so it’s a actually a heater. Wifi was weak and there was no safety deposit boxes. When I asked for extra adapters they said they had none available. The Raki restaurant was very slow serving breakfast (45 mins plus). All around seemed like it’s more like a cheap hotel.
Location was good and the small town (Megalochori) was very nice

United StatesThere were mosquitoes in the room and we were eaten alive overnight. The air conditioning wasn’t effective- it was cooler outside than inside. The bathroom is substandard - only a handheld shower with no shower curtain or even a hook for a towel. The price was on the high end of Santorini.
The location is great! Megalochori is a great place to escape the tourists. The outdoor space is gorgeous. The indoor space is large.
