The staff, the breakfast, the hotel/room view were all amazing and made for a truly memorable stay. From start to finish, we were looked after and made feel at home and the private pool in our room was perfect. Would 100% recommend this hotel for other traveller's. Only downside is the steep walk to imerovigli but your in santorini so there is no avoiding the hills 😊

Both the bathroom and fridge were small.

Santorini's balcony has the most spectacular views of the caldera. Sunsets are spectacular. We have a room with our own plungepool. Sitting in the pool in the evening, glass of wine in hand watching the sunset is as good as it gets.The staff are very hospital led by the amazing owner, Anthony. He treated us like family and always had a smile 😃

This is not an hotel, this is a family that takes fine care of the humans that live with them. Unmatched hospitality and empathy from Anthony and the staff. You're not a guest, you get to have a home here and enjoy it! Best homemade breakfast that makes you love waking up. Best view in Santorini. If you need anything, they will take care of you. Anthony took my wife and I in his own car, a sweet Volvo, to drive us to the beach with him. Thank you so much Santorini's balcony for a trip of a lifetime. I will tell all about you and your crew's kindness and hospitality to my friends and family in Cairo and Amsterdam.

There was no English breakfast tea available, only herbal/fruit/green teas.

The view from the hotel is stunning and the location allows peace & quiet, but also close enough to walk to busier locations on foot and well located as a base to tour the island. All the staff were helpful and friendly, providing local information & helped with booking tours/quads/transfers etc. Breakfast was lovely with multiple choices allowed. The pool area is great to just chill out & to look out over the Caldera and people watch as they walk past on the hike to Oia. Overall it's an excellent small family ran hotel in the most amazing location!

We had the most fabulous time. My daughter and I went for her 18th Birthday and our stay at Santorini's balcony was faultless from beginning to end. The warmest of welcomes from the fabulous staff, the room, food, cocktails and the nicest of atmospheres. The view was absolutely breathtaking and photos just don't do it justice. Do not hesitate in booking. I looked at 100s of hotels and I am just delighted we chose to stay here. Thankyou so much to all the wonderful staff for making our stay SO FABULOUS and SO VERY SPECIAL. I am eternally gratefully. It's not goodbye but until we meet again...

if go in May like we did its beautiful and sunny during the day but during the evenings it gets quite cold and very windy, take a coat and jumpers as the hotels is on the cliff it feels even colder, the rooms gets very cold and there's no heating , zero cosiness the hot tubs are useless as you'll freeze water is warm but not hot enough to get I tried and froze lol, so paying for the honey moon suite wasn't worth it, better to stay here summer time. this place villa style living rather then a hotel as there is no phones in the room to call reception you have to go down to reception and ask if you want anything and reception is closed after 11pm anyway so your on your own if you need any towels or loo roll or anything late night on a honeymoon that's not great. Breakfast was fresh and tasty but minimum choice , rooms are basic , bathroom is basic, headboard and bed linen defo need updating, definitely not 5* a 4* at best., our safe did not work while we were there, no one fixed it either so we gave up. cleaning needs to better as the dust gets so bad and the bugs from all the wind and the location.

amazing perfect views, sunsets are beautiful, great location, in the middle of Fira and oai, the walking path to Fira is amazing pictures very beautiful scenic walk, the staff and owner are very polite. Big tv was a plus for hubby.

- We had some bad luck with the weather while we were there, the temperature was only at about 23 degrees Celcius and it was really windy which is why we didn't really get to use our private plunge pool. It was heated, but it wasn't heated enough to feel comfortable in the wind (it's not a hot tub). The good news was that the common area of the hotel is much less windy than our private patio was, so we just hung out on the sun beds by the pool instead and drank some cocktails. - We felt that for the price of the place, the amenities could be maintained a little better. The room was nice but could definitely need some updates (especially the bathroom), and our outdoor furniture was dirty. - As other guests have mentioned, we just had staff walk onto our private patio randomly to clean the pool which felt a little weird given that you can look straight into the room from there.

We loved the location, the view, the staff, and the common area by the pool which is also where breakfast is served. The staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating. The location of this place was perfect for us because it's in a more secluded spot away from the crowded towns and has an amazing view that isn't blocked by any buildings but it's still close enough to the town of Imerovigli (it's a 10-15 minute walk up the hill) where you'll find a mini market, a bus stop, and countless restaurants. It's also only about a 15-minute drive into the capital of Fira, or alternatively, a 30-45 minute walk along the coast. Would absolutely recommend walking as you'll walk through beautiful, less busy parts of the island and have amazing views! We also loved how accommodating the staff was on our last day. Our flight didn't leave until 11 pm but we were still treated like guests for the whole day. We could leave our luggage with them, and hang out by the pool. Getting around the island can be challenging since the busses mainly go to the big towns and don't have a lot of in-between stops on the way (and sometimes, the busses just skip stops). The hotel worked with a driving service which was very convenient. They send us a driver that picked us up from the airport and called a car for us whenever we needed it. It's not cheap but taxis would have been about the same. We did take the bus from Fira to Akrotiri and then back to Fira and from there to Oia one day. It's only about 2 EUR per person per ride.
