We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GeorgiaWe checked in in winter and the apartment was quite cold, this was especially noticeable with the tiled floor (no wood or carpet). There were radiators and conditioners to heat it though. However, this is typical for apartments and hotels in Greece in general.
We had a good time in the apartment. The living room has cosy furniture and great views of the port. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of utensils, dishes and tableware, everything you might need for cooking. There's a nice coffee shop Everest very close to the apartment which is recommended for coffee and pastries. Lidl is also close. Overall, very nice place to stay, especially if it's not winter.

AustraliaUpon entry I was on phone to host as there was no power he instructed me to insert key fob into power adapter which was loose and visible wires as I did this it sparked and he laughed at me thinking it was funny. I then went into the most filthiest dirty unclean cockroach infested( refer to attached photos) apartment I have ever been in. in bedroom 2 there was a cockroach on the curtains we immediately closed door and did not enter this room. We went into bedroom 1 and it smelt stale and dirty. The photos on bookings.com show a very different view as there were throw rugs on couches and the floors and every surface was filthy and covered in dirt obviously no cleaning was done prior to our arrival. Upon entering the so called sea view balcony we were met with over 10 pigeons roosting on the table - there were pigeon droppings on every surface / chairs and tables we had to try to find our own products to wipe down the droppings before we could sit down. I phoned the host to tell him this apartment was disgusting and he laughed at me and agreed it was unclean . I said we are not staying here and I want a refund and he said we have no chance of getting any refund: by now it’s 1.00 am and we had no option but to stay the night. We slept on the couches in the lounge room as the air conditioner was not working in the bedroom. Upon sleeping for 3 hours entered bathroom to find dead cockroach on floor(refer to photo). We had to go across the road where our friends were staying to have a shower as this apartment was filthy.
The host was the most arrogant person I have ever encountered. We had great difficulty finding the apartment even our driver had difficulties finding it. Couldn’t enter building as you had to bang on door to try to open. No warnings there were 2 flights of stairs prior to lift and we had to carry our heavy suitcases on our own. There were no instructions upon entering the room - no room numbers and access into room was extremely difficult.
