Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe had trouble finding the villa as we had no SatNav in the hire car. Some good local written directions would have been helpful.and would have saved us going round in circles trying to find it late at night. Also there was no tourist information including nearest supermarket and pharmacy . A local street map of Kolymbia would have been useful so we went to reception at a nearby hotel and they gave us a map and other information. Usually there is a folder with information in the holiday .I hope they will provide one for future guests
Self catering some basics in fridge and fresh fruit .No milk though. .Freshly baked bread and eggs were provided mid week from the owner. and a little Greek gift was left at the end of our stay. The billa was beautiful with lovely grounds and pool.Plenty of outside seating , a small playground and even orange and lemon trees. At the back of the villa was a large wood burning BBQ complete with adjacent sink. The beds were the most comfy we have ever experienced in a holiday home. Also all of the windows had fine mesh to prevent mosquitoes getting in..The aircon was effective anf there external blinds .The situation is quiet with a ten minute walk to beach and amenities..

United KingdomThe villa is on the corner of 2 roads which are fairly busy with coaches going past regularly. Kolymbia itself is a bit run down. The beach is nice but the town is dominated by massive all inclusive hotels which have taken over and forced quite a few bars and restaurants to close. It's a real shame but there are still plenty of options if you want to eat out.
Lovely property. We spent a lot of time in the pool which was great. Someone came a few times during our stay to clean it and also tend to the gardens. Towels were provided for pool/beach. The property is really secure with electric gates and fencing all around. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and washing machine and detergent/tablets for both was provided. There was bread, butter, fruit juice and wine in the villa when we arrived and we also had a mid-week delivery of fresh bread and eggs from the owner's farm. Lovely. Nice BBQ area and loads of outdoor seating at the front and back and always some shade to be found. We hired a car for a few days to explore the island, but probably not a necessity. The car was useful to get to a supermarket though, as there isn't much choice in Kolymbia. The closest "supermarkets" are just tourist shops selling crisps and inflatable unicorns. We found the best one was Zeus in the town centre, or there is Flevaris on the main road outside the town which took us about 25 minutes to walk to and has a better choice (but still not that great). One useful thing to know - the Mikri Poli hotel has a small water park and they do day passes which include access to their all inclusive buffet. We spent a few hours there - about a 20 minute walk from the villa. Some really nice tavernas within walking distance. Would definitely recommend Olive Groves and Ouzaki. The communication from the property manager, Sebastian, was excellent.

United KingdomThe villa is spacious and stunning, there was everything there that you needed. On arrival our host welcomed us with fresh produce and wine. We also had produce from his farm. Advice on places to visit, which was amazing drove out to lovely restaurants and places of interest. The villa is within walking distance of restaurants, sea and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sugar View Villa
