I don‘t know if there is anything negative to say.

I can say without exaggeration that this week at The Modernist was one of, if not the best hotel experience I have ever had. I have the incredible hotel staff to thank for this, they helped me so much, gave me hundreds of recommendations for restaurants, cafes, bars and activities which turned out to be unique experiences. They were also always open for a little chat. Don't hesitate and book this hotel. It is very centrally located, you can get anywhere in the city very quickly and don't have to rely on cabs or public transport. The breakfast buffet is huge and there is something for every taste. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are very clean, you feel at home as much as you can away from home. The minibar is also stocked with only local products. The rooms are also very quiet, even though they face the street. All in all, a perfect hotel experience - as a person who travels a lot, I can only recommend it.

The room and bathroom didn’t have enough shelf space. You can shuffle some things around to make space, though. And I did have a balcony :)

The location could not be any more central. It’s 2 blocks from the waterfront, 2 blocks from a metro stop right in the heart of Thessaloniki. The breakfast included a dazzling array of sweet pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, every type of milk, yogurt, coffee, fresh orange juice, eggs made to order—really a lot, well presented, and wonderful staff to assist. Indeed, the staff at all times greet you enthusiastically, warmly and try to help you with travel solutions, restaurant recommendations. The bed and pillows were comfortable. External noise wasn’t evident; and I rarely heard anyone outside my door, despite being near an elevator. I would definitely recommend it.

This property combines location facilities but the most important for us was the service. Amazing staff, very positive and ready anytime to serve you and meet any expectation always with a very positive approach and a big smile. PEOPLE CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE. AND IN THIS PROPERTY FROM THE RECEPTION, HOUSEKEEPING AND THE BREAKFAST STAFF WERE JUST AMAZING. WE WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK!

I liked everything!!!

The hotel is locataed right in the center next to Aristotelous Square. We walked everywhere , no need to take a taxi or other transportation. The hotel is clean , not big, breakfast on the roof top was great. The staff is just amazing. They were very hospitable and assisted us in everything we asked. They are really really nice and helpfull.
