Too many electronic controls for simple tasks in the room and none working properly, it's a pity. Also the light in the bathroom is not proper for make-up despite the magnifying mirror.

This hotel has a wonderful sense of design—minimalist, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The service is attentive and considerate, making the stay even more enjoyable. The room offers stunning views, allowing guests to take in the beauty of the sea up close at any time. It’s just a pleasant 10+ minutes walk along the coast to reach the city center. Staying here for three to four days would be an incredibly relaxing and delightful experience. Highly recommended!

The only minus we can think of is that the heated pool is not really heated..(visited in November). But it is such a small thing comparing to all the pluses.

We had a great stay! The room was big and spacious, clean, felt new. And the view.. Amazing. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were all so kind and helpful. The hotel is not located in the city center (but not very far), which for us was exactly what we wished for - peace and quiet. The breakfast was great and also the dinner at the restaurant!

Keep in mind there is a 30 minute walk to the Old Venetian harbor, also the pool is indoors and it smells a bit of mildewy in that area…

A gorgeously renovated property. Listen to the waves as you go to sleep. Beautiful, comfortable and breakfast is ⭐️ and our steam shower was a treat!

Not great cat lovers - lots of them outside but they generally took the hint and weren’t a nuisance. No nearby beaches so we generally used taxis to the beaches on the west side of town or walked in and got the 21 bus from Chania bus station and back.

Breakfast choices and buffet items all good. Availability of tomato ketchup would have been welcome. All staff great. Loved the sea views from our room and the dining patio open to the sea. Reception couldn’t be more helpful. 20 to 25 min walk into town.

The Family Suite has two bedrooms as advertised, but the smaller bedroom is a kind of mezzanine and the two bedrooms have no doors/walls between them, so we still ended up creeping about in the dark once our child was in bed (but still had a lovely stay!).

The hotel is beautifully designed with stunning sea views. The staff were all extremely welcoming and helpful at both reception and in the restaurant, where in particular they were very accommodating of our young daughter. The food in the restaurant was fabulous and there is a simple but lovely spa with an indoor pool, steam room and outdoor whirlpool.

The spa is too close to the pool so is noisy when you are trying to relax.

We’ve had our wedding in chania on 31st of August, an we had the pleasure to stay at this wonderful, perfect, professional and dreamy modern hotel. The employees are just so friendly, welcoming and lovely! We will come back as often as we will be in chania. This was the most wonderful experience and made our wedding even more special.

Nothing. It’s on the outskirts of town which we liked, but having a car is helpful (parking in Chania is easy and app based) but you can walk in easily

The Tanneries is fabulous and we absolutely loved our stay! Fantastic, modern, comfortable rooms over looking the sea. Loved that our room had its own steam room and jacuzzi! The breakfast is lovely and dinner in the restaurant is also great. The small gym is ample. Didn’t have time to try the spa this trip. The building itself is Interesting and attractive, and the area has a great vibe. Possibly the best aspect is that the staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. They tailored breakfast to our preferences, were on hand to recommend places to visit and restaurants/ tavernas in each location, provided towels for beach visits, and they even helped us load the car when we left! I would highly recommend it.
