We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

IsraelFantastic hotel in a great location. Modern classic decor - not as "posh" as other hotels in the area and not as expensive....which is a good thing!! Everything was new (obviously the renovation was recent). Super clean and comfortable. The staff were outstanding and the breakfast was great.

GreeceAn excellent experience ! Location is perfect, you have everything near by, All the hotel’s facilities are very well designed and practical. The rooms are elegant and the bed is very comfortable. The climate control is very efficient. Exceptional breakfast is served in the restaurant area, which was brilliantly transformed into my “office” area during the day and later on to the best dinning experience I had in town. The hotel’s restaurant is a must !! The private parking on site is definitely very handy!!! I will be returning very shortly! and I would definitely recommend it for your stay and you dinning

ItalyAmerica Express in not accepted. This is something that has to be corrected because you cannot leave Amex customers behind.
General considerations: The Hotel is brand new and the location (Kifissia) is amazing for shopping and the restaurants nearby. During the Christmas holidays, the atmosphere is even more charming; the streets are full of people and life. The hotel has only 3 parking spots, so you need to book it in advance otherwise you run the risk not to be able to park your car. Accueil: The guests are welcomed in a cozy area. There is no reception desk but the staff welcome their guests sitting at a round table which gives a customized touch to the procedure. The lobby is clean and a delicate perfume spreads through the entire room. The room: We were accommodated in room number fifteen. The room was very clean and well decorated. Everything was new, the mattress, the linen, the bathroom towels, the furniture, everything. The only flaw was the wardrobe dimension. If you plan to stay more than 2 nights, it might become a problem. The Breakfast: The breakfast is served in the main restaurant on a buffet. Considering the low occupancy of the hotel (I haven’t seen any other guest during our stay) I would suggest to set an “a la carte” breakfast, for two reasons: 1 – you can give your guest a service they will not often have 2 – you save money and avoid to set up a buffet for two guests only. Usually the buffet works with a minimum of 15 guests. The Price: The room rate was a bit high. Yes, it was Christmas and the location is quite expensive itself but for a brand new hotel, which has to break the market, I think that a bit of discount could give a plus on booking.com. It goes without saying that the quality of this hotel is a bit higher than its competitors.

GreeceThe hotel Twentyone was truly an amazing stay and will be a very well remembered visit. The location is exceptional and parking was provided with ease. For such a newly opened hotel, they really did get everything right. The professional and friendly service, from cleanliness to room service to even a remarkable meal in their very stylish restaurant also on site. Having a member of staff available at all times when needed was very helpful. The room was beautifully decorated along with all up to date shower features well worth every penny. We will definitely be returning here. A very easy 5 star status! We wish you well in your new hotel. Thank you!

IrelandHotel is completely new. The decor of the rooms is spectacular. Staff were so helpful and made my stay so enjoyable. I was in Athens solo for IVF treatment and the staff were so thoughtful and I made me feel like a VIP :) Breakfast is in the twenty-one restaurant which is such a beautiful restaurant. The hotel is in the centre of kifisia with plenty of things to do. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again.

TurkeyEven though I stayed for 4 nights, only 1 liter of water, 4 coffee capsules and 4 teas. Isn't it funny? At least 1 liter of water should have been given every day. Even in the minibar, there is only 1 small bottle of water. Really funny. Small bills.
Even though breakfast was included and I paid for it, I never went for breakfast.

GreeceLinen was very hard and pillows not very comfortable. Room was a little humid but thankfully we were transferred to another room. Breakfast was poor and with poor service as there was only one person who could not manage the orders as well as the buffet which was empty by 10:15 when breakfast ends at 11:00
Location is very good! I also love the decor in certain areas of the hotel. Cute balconies.

United KingdomWe’ve been lucky enough to travel with both work and family all over the world and the Twentyone was the most unfriendly and unwelcoming hotel we’ve ever stayed in (we’ve stayed in many higher end / more expensive hotels which are significantly less pretentious). If you asked for something, it was generally no issue but no one was going out of their way. At breakfast on day one, we were pointed in the right direction and whilst anyone who has stayed in a hotel can work out a breakfast buffet, it would have been nice to be offered coffee or a ‘made to order’ option on one of our 3 days. The hotel’s main focus is the restaurant, which takes priority over everything. We felt uncomfortable sitting at the pool in late afternoon as they set the tables for dinner so early. One afternoon we arrived back to the hotel and ordered 2 drinks, however we felt like an inconvenience to the barman and then another waiter reluctantly removed the plates at one table for us as there was nowhere for us to sit outside. For me what really summed up the hotel was the plates and bowls at breakfast still had the €5.99 Zara Home stickers on them. Not washed or cleaned but put straight out by restaurant staff who act like they’re working at the Ritz and too good for the customers. My partner and I were so disappointed in the overall feel of the hotel that we decided against having dinner in the restaurant and instead dined out each night in the many other great options in Kifissia. As a side note if you still want to stay at the hotel, don’t pay the extra for a balcony as they just about fit one chair on them. We also couldn’t sit on the balcony in the evening as you felt imposing on the restaurant guests. I would also request a room not overlooking the restaurant as loud music plays well past 1am. Overall if you are visiting Athens definitely visit Kifissia as it’s fantastic but I would just avoid The Twentyone Hotel. We are returning to Kifissia soon but will opt to stay elsewhere.
Great location. Hotel decor and room supplies - nespresso coffee, safe in room, robes and lovely toiletries. Food offering at breakfast very good. Had lunch / snack one day which was really lovely and that waiter was very personable and friendly. Reception staff were pleasant when you engaged with them.

United KingdomUnfortunately, there is no protection for non smokers at this hotel. Smokers can smoke anywhere outside, even at the small pool area. The outside restaurant area is very large and a small area around the side could easily be set aside for non smokers. We would have loved to have sat outside as the weather was wonderful but were forced to choose the furthest table inside but could still smell strong smoke coming through the open doors - it was quite nauseating as many Greek people smoke cigars and cigarillos and the horrible smell ruined an absolutely beautiful meal, We were hugely grateful that the other hotel in Athens we stayed at later in our holiday, had a totally non smoking area outside and around the pool area so we were safe - what a difference it made to our experience! They don't have to smoke but we do have to breathe! Unless you are one of the aforementioned dreaded smokers, don't bother booking a room with a balcony, the balcony is tiny with only a very small space for one small chair (probably for smokers). It also is hard to walk on with bare feet so do wear the provided slippers. Do double check your bill at check out - no invoice was presented, we were just told verbally an amount to pay, which sounded too much, I queried it and was finally given a batch of slips, not an itemised invoice as the receptionist told me they can only give you that AFTER you pay as the system doesn't allow it, which is very strange. We checked all the slips of different sizes and realised our dinner had been charged twice. The receptionist apologised but we really had to really push to get the breakdown of the invoice - there was a lot of tapping on a computer. It was just lucky that we had left enough time before our taxi was due to arrive or we would have paid over £100 Euro more than was due. Such a shame as this hotel has wonderful potential!
The quality of the room hardware and extra touches are lovely. The shower is excellent. The food at breakfast is superb, the quality of everything is excellent and very Greek with lovely fresh orange juice and delicious omelettes (we had to pay extra for the omelette). The restaurant food quality is excellent too - the gnocci is honestly the best gnocci I have ever tasted anywhere - truly outstanding! The staff are very pleasant and obliging. We slept extremely well and the room was very quiet and comfortable.

Czech RepublicLoud music from the restaurant/bar until 2 AM, even with the windows and shutters closed. We needed earplugs to sleep. The mattress was hard. Parking is limited to a few spots, which cannot be reserved, though we were lucky to get one.
Nicely designed interior and bathroom, great breakfast, and good area.
