Great location ..close to castle, square and beach. Host was exceptional. Nicos was informative, friendly and accommodating. Our breakfasts were lovely. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. A great experience for us.

Everything!!! Niko’s was an excellent host. Very helpful, kind and informative. His breakfasts were phenomenal and his mother’s baking was delicious. How can you go wrong when every breakfast ends with dessert. Clean comfortable room with balcony. Lovely common room. Great location as walking distance to castle, beach and restaurants. Excellent value.

Within a short walk of Methoni's beach and extraordinary castle, we loved the location and peacefulness of the Ulysses Hotel. Nikos was a wonderful host - friendly and helpful - great to chat with. Our breakfast, taken in the nicely shaded courtyard, was a treat of many delights.

We loved the delicious homemade breakfast served on the patio, shaded by fruit trees! Centrally located, walkable to town and beach. The hotel was comfortable and the patio was a lovely place to relax with a cappuccino.

A very nice and cozy hotel near the beach. The family running the hotel was extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was personal, not buffet style. Very tasty and freshly made and the place for breakfast, which was located in a shady garden, was remarkably pleasant. The room was large enough and stylishly rustic. What I especially liked was that there were no masses of tourists in this city. Now of course it's hypocritical to write that you should visit the Methoni... but I do it anyway... just don't tell everyone about this nice town. :-)

Great spot, just a couple of steps from the restaurants, the beach and the castle. Staff was very friendly and did everything for us to have a great stay.

Everything. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and felt at home. This is such a lovely property with very kind welcoming owners. The breakfast is fabulous ( especially the cake) the room, bed, balcony were the best.

Very welcoming and helpful host, he gave us tips on places to see and restaurants in the area (very good suggestions indeed!). The hotel is very nice, with a beautiful patio and equipped with books, boardgames etc. It is located in the middle of Methoni walking distance from everything.

There was nothing to dislike.

Everything! Nikos and Egne made us feel very welcome. Their motto more home than hotel is so true. Our stay was relaxing, peaceful and so enjoyable. Methoni is a lovely small town, with some great restaurants and a great base to enjoy the area. A wonderful castle to explore, just 5 minutes walk from the hotel, with gorgeous views. Especially good to watch the sunset!

It was clean and quiet and a very relaxing place. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely and generous. It is also a great location for seeing Methoni and the surrounding area.
