Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CambodiaThe breakfast could have had more of a choice rather than just being given what the hotel decided. A menu selection would have been better.
Best views in Santorini by far, we visited all of the island and this was by far out favourite.

United KingdomMy only complaint would be the very ropey breakfasts. The hosts have gone to great lengths to try to deliver a breakfast in the morning included in the price to have on the private terraces. The attempt is nice but the breakfasts really aren't. Sweaty eggs and bread, a few criossants. It let the stay down, I wouldve been perfectly happy without the breakfast being an option at all because the rest of the stay was bang on. The breakfast made the quality of the stay seem lower.
Room was fine, spacious and very clean, location was great albeit away from thira, maybe next time i would nudge in a little closer but as I saw from many of the properties walking around the streets, most lack any privacy so this was a great option. It was also walking distance to one of my favourite spots in the world, Cavo Tagoo.

EstoniaBed is so bad, I even had to take painkillers to survive the night (so hard bed that my back did hurt). I'm maybe not the good example, because I had back surgery 6 months ago. But my husband did say the same - bed is too hard. Wifi is bad also, don't expect to use laptop. Only basic mobile stuff.
Location is excellent, there is not so much people (at least in May) and you can easily walk to main city Thera (if you like to walk - it's about 2km with stairs). View from balcony is amazing, I think sunsets are even better to look from there than in Oia. I liked also private Jacuzzi (with heating).

FinlandThe location is amazing! The sun sets right infront of the terrace. A few steps down is the path to Oia and Fira. Several restaurants nearby and plenty more in Fira and on the way there. Very big breakfast was delivered every morning.

Hong KongAccessible by walking down a steep 250m hill - accommodation located on the corner of a pathway with continuous footfall. Partially obscured Caldera view, despite an elevated terrace. No helpful “what to see, what to do, where to eat” recommendations in the room, or from the host. Overall, I’d say very likely there are better value late summer options in Imrovegli.
Spacious, clean and fairly well appointed cave room and bathroom - very little daylight. Fairly well maintained and warm jacuzzi. Ample choice of restaurants nearby, €70-100 a head for dinner with wine - few more reasonable options.

United Arab EmiratesHaving to carry my bags down the stairs to the room. Pretty much being handed the keys and that was that. Room wasn’t like the photos, the terrace area had no privacy and spent most the time being asked to take photos of people. View was great though. Was disappointed that there was no option for a late checkout. Had to be out by 11am and my flight wasn’t until 8pm, so had to carry all my suitcases around for 8 hours.

United KingdomCons - - Unfortunately we stayed the first week of October with extremely high winds, which meant opening the back door and attempting to use the balcony or hot tub was near impossible and sounded like a tropical storm outside, not the hotels fault but just word of warning if you plan to stay out of season. - Every review of this hotel I’ve read has complained about the hardness of the beds and the breakfast, and I thought people may have been exaggerating, but unfortunately not. The beds are rock hard, leaving me and my companion with sore backs in the morning, and the breakfast needs a whole discussion itself, truly terrible and the worst effort at a breakfast I’ve had at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at, it’s indescribable. You basically get 4 boiled eggs in a bag, 2 small milks, 2 orange juices, a small box of cold pastries and miniature jars full of cereal’s nuts etc. Honestly every review has given a negative review of the breakfast so why this hasn’t been addressed by the hotel is beyond me, I would really urge them to actually remove the breakfast option from the stay as it’s gives the stay itself a disservice. - Unfortunately again the shower itself needs improvements, the bathroom itself is fine, but it lets itself down with rusty amenities like the shower hose and shower head unit, an easy fix if attention to detail is paid. In addition when we stayed, the water did not drain effectively in the shower, meaning you were standing in water up to your ankles, and of the 4 days we only achieved one hot shower for our duration of the stay, due to their being no hot water. I don’t know why this was? me and my partner didn’t complain to the hotel, as that’s not the type of people we are, but I’m sure many others would have complained, to not be able to have a hot shower during your stay is extremely disappointing.
Pros: - Excellent location, close to all the nice view points, shops and restaurants in Imerovigli and down the road from Fira. To get to Oia however is quite a considerable drive, and I didn’t see many buses, so having transportation to get to Oia is a must! - The cleaning lady was especially nice, and left our room feeling brand new every day after she had cleaned it, she’s a credit to Unique Suites. - The view from the Balcony is breathtaking, especially on good weather days, you can sit and happily relax in beautiful bliss. - There are a variety of food options and two mini supermarkets in close proximity across the road from you so you have everything you need on your doorstep.

United Arab EmiratesThe breakfast need real improvement. it gets served from a catering company in a box to enjoy in your room with the beautiful caldera view :) unfortunately you can’t chose so the catering place send the breakfast with bacon n sausages which is not everyone’s breakfast preference. it would have been amazing if we were asked for our preference and accordingly the boxes are send. Staffs are not there 24*7available to let them know about the issue immediately ( an emergency number was given but we didn’t call as it didn’t feel emergency to us) but when we met the staff and informed last day the breakfast was amended to our preference. and being the public parking for the property it’s a bit challenge to find a suitable spot to park the car and most of the times need to park a bit far.
Santorini’s magical sunset was available from the warm Jacuzzi of the hotel room. Room itself was spacious and very beautiful. The sitting area or lobby (inside the room) with the same view as balcony was awesome. The bathroom with double shower and amenities was really good too. Location is romantic and surrounded by other beautiful properties lots of Instagram moments all around. the mini market next door has all the things that u might need and also a lot of restaurants and coffee bars too. A couple can truly enjoy themselves :)
