Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomOur hotel experience was spoiled by the unusual handheld shower (also had to waste a lot of water waiting for hot water to come through). The Wi-Fi was poor.
The location and view from the balcony were fantastic. Parking was easy (out of season), we loved being so close to the ruins that we were able to have breakfast but still be the first visitors of the day!

GreeceSo I'm pretty smart: I booked for the Friday without noticing, then turned up on Saturday expecting a room. After the cool dude at the desk pointed out my error, he said "Hey, don't worry, we'll sort it", and then promptly booked me into a new room at no additional charge. Amazing. The hotel itself is quite spectacular, hanging off the side of a cliff with a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. It's quiet, the bed was superb and the water pressure in the shower could strip paint off wood. "Sounds fine, yeah, but why the 10 rating?" Well, let me tell you this: I was sitting in the hotel bar, minding my own business with a cup of coffee as I did some work, when a manager came over bearing a steaming plate of Portokalopita (orange cake) with ice cream. "They just made it in the kitchen," she said, depositing the plate and moseying away. Cake on the house = the best house. Then, at breakfast, I was tucking into my little continental platter, when my partner came over carrying a bowl of loukomades (tiny fried donuts). "A staff member told me they were fresh out of the fryer and I should have some immediately," she said with a look of confused wonder on her face. Isn't this how the world should be? Little random acts of kindness and accommodation when other people mess up? Wouldn't it be nice? Isn't it a more attractive alternative to the present-day dystopia we insist on investing in? You can bet your last loukomades I'll be coming here again.

GreeceIt's time to write a review about our short stay at this hotel. We checked in on the evening of December 24th. We were given a room on the third floor, unfortunately the heating was not working in the room and the evening receptionist asked us to move into other rooms on the lowest floor, we had two rooms. Our friends moved in earlier and lived on the fifth floor. The room was nice enough, and very clean. Our friends were not very lucky, all the equipment (motors) for climate control are located under their room and they complained to us about the noise, to which we decided that in the morning they would give us our rooms in which the heating would be fixed. In the morning, I went to the reception and asked Leonidas (he was on shift) if we could be given other rooms, before I could finish the sentence, Leonidas rudely sent me to breakfast, saying we would decide later. I was very surprised, but it's Christmas and I didn't want to spoil my vacation. After breakfast, I went back to the reception and then something terrible started, Leonidas was rude, shouting and swearing. Thanks to the hotel manager, unfortunately I don't remember the name. This man tried to fix the situation, asked Leonidas to leave, to which he became even more angry and shouted and threw himself at us from behind the reception desk, and at that moment the whole company had already gathered. Of course, the hotel guests and the restaurant staff heard all this. I can say that we travel a lot, but this is the first time we have encountered this attitude. A nice hotel, clean, in a great location, but how can one person ruin your vacation and how can he represent the face of the hotel. Now the time has passed and I have already calmed down a little, so I will not list all the nasty things that Leonidas said. Thanks to the hotel manager and staff, who tried and did everything possible to somehow support and help resolve the conflict. I ask the management to pay attention to this...

United StatesNo issues.
The hotel lived up to expectations, and was a solid option for Delphi. SERVICE: I didn't encounter bad service anywhere in Greece. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and proactive, emailing me to warn me that the usual road was closed due to a landslide and suggesting a detour. Staff also made suggestions about places to see. ROOM: Large, simply furnished, but with a balcony with a stunning view of the valley towards the sea a few kilometers away. You're paying for that view, and it was worth it. BREAKFAST: Served in the main dining room, with huge picture windows of that valley view. A large, decent buffet, with omelets to order. Service again friendly. PARKING: Free in front of the hotel. There are about 5-6 spots - in off season, no problem to get one.

United StatesThey provided 2 pillows per person, as in upscale hotels, but they missed the point that one should be thin and another thick to accommodate different tastes. They provided all 4 pillows the same thickness (too thick), and it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on such a high pillow.
The location was great, within walking distance to the Delphi Archeological Museum and site. All rooms have a beautiful view on the mountains and the bay. There was a free parking, but limited. The parking is hard to find in this mountain town with narrow streets, especially during the high winter season (ski resort nearby). Breakfast was American style, with omelets, eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereals, local sweets and fruits.

SingaporeThe internet connection was totally wonky! On and off all the time! But that was really the main issue
V Hotel, Delphi Staying for 4 days, very close to the Apollo Temple & Museum, this is a pretty standard hotel with balconies, great view of the mountains and to the town of Itea Just 2 of us, but since we are on a fairly long south euro journey with appropriate amount of luggage, we decided to do the quadruple, basically two connecting rooms! Which turned out to be a blessing! One room for luggage and our prep area, the other for sleeping. The hotel is fairly new as a Hotel, although the building is older! Its design is pretty much a 70th 80th style, but clean and neat, so quite ok. What stood out was the quality & hospitality of the staff! Sadly due to both the season & the boulders blocking the access road from a nearby town, business was truly poor! Resulting at time with only 10 guests at this ) storied property! The town was mostly super quiet, but that suited us real well, peace was what we wanted & got! Overall we would come back if we visited Delphi again! #magicalholidays#thetourist #greece #athens #holidaysurprise #delfi #delphi #VHotel
