When we came later for breakfast they didn't have everything and we're paying the same price so I think we should get the same. But they were really nice about it and gave us more of the other instead. And would be nice to air out the room a bit more so it doesn't smell. And I wish there were curtains too and bigger lockers.

Had a great stay here. The hostel is really beautiful and also social. The beds are really comfy and you have your own reading light. and the breakfast is really good. Great location too. The rooftop has a great view. I also booked the vulcano tour for a great price.

One receptionist staff member wasn't forthcoming around the logistics of tourist activities. Didn't have maps, couldn't give directions to the Hobbitenango Office. Wasn't welcoming. However the other two were very welcoming and helpful.

Cleanliness and location. Close to everything. Very safe. Firm mattresses. Second very helpful and friendly member of the breakfast crew. Tipped him well.

Laundry service was really expensive. Take your laundry to be washed somewhere else in the hostel it's really expensive.

Hostel is good starting point for travel around Antigua, they offer really good tips and ideas on what to do. Breakfast was spot on. There was a lot of different activities offered.

No lockers for everyone - there are simply not enough. The big dorm can be a bit loud as people are coming in and out and the door makes some noise. Basically just to many people in the dorm. Breakfast is good, but it’s not much - doesn’t always fill you up enough.

Central location, but away from the busy streets. Beds feel like cozy as they are like boxes (+ light and plug per bed). Nice rooftop terrace with lots of places to chill out. Fire outside in the evening for colder nights - gave a cozy atmosphere. Bathrooms are very clean and spacious.

Location, very good views of the volcanoes from the terrace, good food in the restaurant but the included breakfast was not as good as the menu or the same quality. the staff was super friendly and helpful. The hostel is a cozy and beautiful.

The staff was very nice and welcoming - thank you, Keila and Lili, for everything! Comfortable beds, nice common area, close to city center. The BEST shower I've had the whole trip (2.5 months now) - really hot water, great water flow, big shower space (was especially appreciated after coming back from Acatenango). Great place to meet people, but didn't feel like a loud party hostel (for me it was a great combination).

there was special offers advertised on walls in dorm (can’t remember exactly but 4 nights for 3 or something like that) having already checked in and paid for my stay before seeing this was a bit annoying as I would of used that offer for sure. should be advertised better for travellers

the staff were really helpful and friendly throughout my stay. although a lot of beds in the dorms didn’t feel overly cramped and beds were comfortable. really enjoyed my stay, location was ideal.

Liked everything

I liked everything about Hostel Adra. We had a private room. Best bed we had in 4 weeks, and a very clean room and hot shower. The rooftop terrace had a lovely view and the other terrace is very cosy as well. The staff is so friendly and helpfull. They helped us with planning the rest of our trip. Laundry service is good, fast and clothes smelled nice. Best hostel I ever stayed in. I would recommand Adra Hostel to everyone.

Some confusion about breakfast (miscommunication between hostel and booking.com so we had only paid for one breakfast not five) but staff did their best to help find a solution.

The outdoor communal space was great, well thought out and super clean. Family room layout was great for us travelling with three kids. Some noise in the evening as all the rooms are directly next to the bar and communal area. (Entirely expected as a hostel and to be fair it quietened down by 10.30/ 11.00 - problem for us at all, just so others are aware) Great central location

The front desk workers were all very helpful! Especially Kayla, Kayla and Lily.- yes two Kaylas! The hostel manager was also incredibly nice, we had a great conversation on Guatemalan tourism and then recommended I go to the roof of the hostel for a morning yoga session with a view of the Fuego eruptions. Breakfast was fresh every morning as well. Definitely a great comfortable stay - recommend for all types of travelers.
