Street noise and shower

It was cheap and available when all other hotels had no room they speak no English have a translator room was clean and serviceable but spartan and lots of street noise breakfast was awesome

The entrance to the room was located on a busy street. The walls/ceiling, and doors are very thin. There was a space under the door and you could feel cold wind coming through. There wasn't any warm/hot water.

I liked that I got a private bathroom.

We had the last available room and it was actually in the restaurant next door behind the kitchen Very loud and strange until the restaurant closed at 8pm. Also zero natural light.

The staff were lovely if someone incompetent. When we first got there, they thought we were to be in a certain room. As they could not find the key. we had to wait a half hour and then move our luggage to a lodging that was beside the main hotel. After another 15 min, they found the key and opened our room. Open entering . we discovered that the place was occupied. Upon noticing that there was a computer on the bed, several phone chargers and a couple of knapsacks, I stared that the room was already occupied. Without looking in the staff said no and was equally as surprised as us when he looked in and saw computer and luggage. He then had to call someone and then stared thar I was right and this was not our room. We moved back to the main hotel and for our room . We ended up with all the taxes and price line booking charges ended up paying about 20$ Canadian more than we had expected. The room was okay but small. Even though they knew there were two of us we had to ask for a second towel. We asked for breakfast to be ready for 7:30 am as we had a shuttle picking us up at 8 am. There was no one there to serve us breakfast at 7:30. At 7:50 am they came by to tell us that breakfast was ready. Although we had written down our time of departure and told them twice. they seemed surprised when we told them we had no time to eat the breakfast now. The staff were polite and friendly but they just didn’t seem to know how to run a hotel. The bed was a little hard and the pillows were very big and hard. As a result I did not have a great sleep. Definitely not worth the $167 Canadian we had to pay. It was okay but definitely not worth the money we paid for the place. Would not recommend this place unless you are desperate. clean but way overpriced for what you get!!

Was close to everything in Antigua. We didn't sleep there as only hired the room for a shower before a long bus ride.

I liked the friendly staff, we were a group of 15 people and they kindly received us at different hours because we were arriving from different cities in Guatemala. They prepared us a packed breakfast because we had to leave early in the morning to hike Acatenango Volcano. Julio was very helpful and always there assisting us in what we needed. I higly recommend them and for sure we'll stay with them next time we arrive to Antigua.

Building work at 6.30am, toilet didn’t work, didn’t feel like a hostel. Basically they had thrown together pods in area of a restaurant. Light is on all night so if you’re in the top pods NO LUCK! Also the lockers where part of the make shift wall so you get the added bonus of getting woke up every time a fellow traveler’s is retrieving there stuff. Probably the worst hostel experience I’ve had, mind you I can’t comment on the rooms or the hotel only the pods. Also it has busy traffic from the crack of dawn.

I did not appreciate the fact that there is no silence policy as this ruined our stay. We were awoken at around 5am every morning on a vacation where we craved sleep and peace. I'm not sure if the noise comes from the street or people in the establishment but either way the paper thin walls did not help. There should be a warning about the noise on the room description because it is a deciding factor for many people.

I liked the location of the hotel to touristic points of Antigua. The check in and out were appropriate and easy. I also liked that we had a private bathroom, TV, and convenient furniture. I appreciated the staffs attention to our car and helping us with parking.

paid for a private room with private bathroom. The bathroom was being used by another family, and the door to my room would not shut for the entire stay. I was ensured it was safe as there was CCTV, but sleeping in a room with the door open is not comfortable.

beds to small and u comfortable, the place was not very clean. there are no night rules for guess. four dunks people came into the room at 2:00 am and didn’t stop screaming until 4:00 am.
