The piped in music that played for about 12 hours every day. Could not enjoy the garden with a book or cocktail. That was my only downside to my stay.

The family and staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely family.

Bed wasn’t the most comfortable and room was a little dark, but we were out and about Antigua most of the day, so it was ok.

We had a small issue with our breakfast which was included but as we're vegan could only have a few items. They didn't make it clear what was included and when it came to checking out, we we're presented with a bill for breakfast. We cleared things up but still had to pay for the extra Avocado even though all the meat was taken off the plate. There's a number of amazing Vegan cafés and restaurants in town that I highly recommend.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Organising our transfers and communication over the chat was quick and easy. The Posada is nice but old but nice. Our room wasn't the best but we asked to be moved and the staff quickly organised a different room which was much nice and quiet. For the price, San Carlos is an OK place to stay, the location is great and to be honest, we didn't spend too much time there as there's so much to see and do in town.

We were in the room right at reception, and it was very loud. They let people hang out in reception so they just are sitting outside your door talking or partying a little in the evening.

The staff was friendly, and it has a slide and other things for kids.

that they kept adding costs. First they added 10% for paying with credit card. Then the parking was at an additional cost 60 quetzales per night. then they asked for additional payment for the bed that was said to be free when booking 100 quetzales a night. Would have preferred that they included the 10% charge for paying wi the credit card in the price and then said you get a 10 % discount for paying cash.

The bed was really, really hard - like sleeping on a piece of plywood.

The rooms are quaint and clean. The staff is exceptional and was able to meet every request we made.

The room was not as described, to small and not clean right. The staff was not friendly and seemed bothered everytime we asked for anything. No water. We ended up not getting any hot water at one point. No water at all. The staff had no idea what the issue was, and was not helpful figuring it out.

I had to pay via PayPal even before I arrived at the location. It was weird as I thought I was paying via Booking.com and it seemed off. Not a great experience with the payment.

Maybe the central kids playground. You can hear everything from outside but is not that bad.

Great location, 2 blocks from Antigua central park. Great costumer service!! 24 hrs personnel at front desk. Great price.

There was an additional credit card fee if you were paying with card. The room smelled awfully like mold and they couldn't accommodate us until the next day. Management would not refund either.
