I didn’t like my bed. It was a bit stiff but my two other friends had more comfortable beds.

I loved the workers! The service was top notch. They answered every question. Abi was a big help. I would say the location and the staff makes this trip feel great!

My the second night others hotel guests did not respect the quiet hours outside of my room (10pm)when I needed to get up very early for a volcano hike. My other night was fabulous. It had nothing to do with the hotel but rather a larger group of friends traveling together and staying here too.

The location is great, the staff were very accommodating, and allowed me to store a bag while I hiked an over night volcano excursion. I will be back.

The rooms are not well soundproofed. You can hear the occupants of the rooms next door.

The pool is located in another hotel that is two blocks down the road. There is no restaurant and for breakfast. You’re gonna have to walk three blocks to go to another restaurant where you gonna have a discount. The restaurant they recommended is actually pretty good and located right next to the main attraction of Antigua, the yellow Clock door. The downside is that on weekends it’s located right next to to great wedding facilities meaning you’re gonna have some loud music until midnight. That was a bit the downside, knowing that we had to wake up at 6 AM to go hiking the volcano.

The hotel is very well located downtown Antigua. The staff is extremely friendly and the hotel is overall cozy and there’s a lot of areas to chill.

No A/C, ceiling fan didn't work, uncomfortable beds (hard as a rock), no deadbolt lock en the door. No room service or kitchen service at all unless you are a big party and have rented several rooms. The parking lot was 3 blocks away and expensive.

Value for the money, location was acceptable and easy to find. The ceiling fan didn't work but the front desk guy gave us a stand alone fan for the lengh of our stay. Everything looked very clean and updated. Checkin and checkout were very easy.

This was a lovely hotel within walking distance of the city sites. The courtyards were great with lots of seating. Staff was pleasant and good with directions. Complimentary coffee or teas was provided in the main courtyard, as was purified water. The bed was comfortable and the shower had nice hot water.

-Price of the rooms -You could hear your neighbors in the room next to you very well as there is an open window - so you can hear them talk to each other and hear them shower or use the toilet. -We came during the Christmas period in December and wanted to add one extra night as our shuttle bus departed a day later. They wanted to charge us double the price it normally was and they stated it was the only available room - we checked on booking.com where still rooms where available for the normal price. Because of that we opted to leave and stayed in a hostel for 1 night.

Rooms are big and have a beautiful bathroom with hotel water.

Great stay in the heart of Antigua

We booked a shuttle from Antigua to Lake Atitlan with the front desk. We thought that it was going to be a shuttle that had at most 10 people, but it turned out to be a huge passenger van with about 20 people. It was very tight seating for a 4 hour journey. It was not explained to us that this was a large shuttle van and that it was only dropping off at the boat launch area of Panajachel. We were not the only ones that were surprised with how the shuttle worked. I would recommend that the front desk print off a sheet with information about the shuttle so people know what they are booking.

Location was great. It was within walking distance of all the major historical sites and plenty of restaurants. The rooftop was beautiful and peaceful. Great area if you wanted to read. Most of the staff spoke English. The rooms were very clean and modern. They also had a ceiling fan which helped when it was hot.

The quiet times in the hotel’s shared spaces weren’t as controlled, therefore at higher times of the night there was still a lot of noise sometimes

The noise. Really. You can hear **everything** - meaning, the alarm of a neighbor room went off on 5:20 am, we were so confused by it, since it sounded like it’s one of our phones and we didn’t set that hour. The room was really small and the coffee kit is only on common area, so you have to leave the room for it. On the next room we booked we were under the terrace - a nightmare if you dream of resting during the day. The policy is curfew 22:00, they won’t enforce unless you complain about people seating in common areas and laughing like crazy. The reception staff has been the least pleasant we met in Guatemala, barely respond or lift an eye when you enter and say hello to them. I don’t understand why the reviews are so high.

The hotel is beautiful with outstanding terrace views of the mountains on a clear day. Very nice design, eco friendly with fresh water available in the halls and hot water and coffee/tea.

The walls are a bit thin and we could hear our neighbors a bit, and the fan only turns on when the lights are on, so sleeping was sometimes a little difficult. The room we booked was on the smaller side, and we had trouble finding space for all our stuff. We booked the cheapest option though, so (as expected), more $$, more room! Really though, this spot is fabulous.

I absolutely loved this place! We stayed here for a week and worked quite a bit from the hotel as well. The wifi was everything we needed, the hotel is in an incredibly central and walkable part of the city, the staff was great, and the open air vibe of the hotel is lovely. The artwork, color, and attention to detail that fills the space is great. Everyone was very helpful and we loved hanging out here. 10/10 recommend!

Depending on the room but some rooms where very cramped. Not a lot of space to leave your bags and then to move around. Even the bathroom was very small which was not ideal when going to the toilet.

Beautiful location with nice roof terrace where you could see all three vulcanos. Lots of places to sit in the hotel and they offered free water, coffee and thee.
