Internet signal at my room was a little bit bad, had to stay near the window for it to work properly.

Location was super good, just next door you have a great brewery. Very near a pharmacy, and just two blocks from the historic arc.

Authentic beautiful old house full of treasures and spirit. Furnished in old style and colored with flowers. Excellent spaces to rest surrounded by the sound of water. Nice top roof spaces to view volcanoes. Very friendly staff. They arranged for us transportation and due to the early getup breakfast pack. In the afternoon there was coffee and banana cake. All day long cold lemon water and juices wait in the garden.

At the end of the stay the toilet started leaking, but I’m sure it was a quick and easy fix.

I loved the room, it was traditional, very clean and a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also very good, and had a lovely seating area in the courtyard.

Everything was perfect. Comfortable bed, nice room. Everything was clean and the staff is super friendly. Totally enjoyed our stay. We could also stayed at the property after check out. Lovely little garden inside.

I sent a couple of messages through booking (one to change dates before the cancellation cut-off and another to try to organise an airport shuttle) and I didn't get any response to either message. I booked transport through Guatego (they were great), but it was frustrating not being able to reach Meson de Maria after making a booking.

Meson de Maria is such a beautiful place. It's in a really central location and the staff are lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the room was impeccably clean. The staff also organised washing for me really last minute when I checked in straight after a hike.

This place is a gem! I arrived late from the airport, and they welcomed me to my sweet, comfortable room. The staff is super nice, and it is in the perfect location, close to everything, and quiet at night.

The rooms do not have AC and there are no ceiling fans, it was really hot and there were many misquitoes. Walls are very thin - I could hear everything happening in the room next door and late night from the neighboring bars.

Breakfast was great with a new selection daily. The midday banana bread and coffee was a nice touch, along with refreshing water all day. Rooftop has amazing views of the city and lots of seating areas throughout the property with really beautiful plants and greenery. Location is ideal, right in the middle of everything.

Hot water can be patchy, and can be loud in evening as you’re so close to the bars/restaurants (so pack pair of earplugs!)

Nice comfortable common area, different spaces to relax in. Good rooftop and close to the action - although next door to a brewery which has loud music (bring earplugs).

This place gets everything right. Location is ideal, just a few blocks from both the arch and the main square, but still quiet at night. Rooms are comfortable, stylish (rustic colonial) and well appointed. Whole property is immaculately clean, and it's clear a lot of thought went into decor, landscaping, and all the design touches. Really beautiful serene spaces throughout the property, lovely central first-floor courtyard where a wonderful breakfast is served (included). Coffee and juices available in dispensers all day. Helpful, professional, and obviously well trained staff addressed any request or question quickly and completely. Lovely rooftop terrace. And all at a most reasonable price. You can certainly spend more than this in Antigua, but why you'd want to is beyond me. I look forward to revisiting the experience on my next trip.
