The bed is too firm for me, I prefer a softer mattress. Also, they could use a few hooks to hang up wet towels.

The management was very helpful. We had a problem with hot water in the shower and they bought the new device and fixed it the next morning. The hotel is very clean and well kept. There is water, a microwave and refrigerator for guests. The location is good and easily walkable.

The only thing I didn't love about this place was the synthetic sheets. There was so much static electricity I actually got a wee shock more than once and my hair was always standing up!

The couple who run this place are really lovely and accommodating. They were quick to help us out with things, like extra blankets and bowls so we could finish our muesli. The rooms are very clean with good internet, nice outdoor tables/spaces to work if you need that kind of thing, and a very short walk from good bars and places to eat. Highly recommend!

There are chairs and benches outside my room, where I could sit for some fresh air. There’s also free mineral water and they provide microwave. You can even borrow plates and other utensils.

Quiet and lovely courtyards. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I asked for a fork and got a whole dinner set. Very clean, hot water, comfortable beds. The courtyard areas are a wonderful retreat.

On the way out, the doors were not open and secured properly, so it hit the car! Nothing important, not a big scratch, but a simple "I'm sorry" from the host, who was there and saw it, would be much appreciated! But it's a small issue, reflecting on the person, not the accommodation that was great!

The host is very friendly and welcoming! The place is good value for money, do not expect something special, but compared with other places in this price range - it is great!

- can't pay card so would try to take out cash before you check in as they look for you to pay on arrival - the doorbell was loud and woke us up when someone was trying to get in late at night

Amazing value! the property is about a ten minute walk from the main touristy strip but there's a bunch of stuff super close by to eat and a cute bar & beer garden less than a five min walk away. The room was really big and clean, beds were super comfy, good wifi and tv with Netflix, and the owners were really nice. Would highly recommend and we really enjoyed our stay

There was a lack of space in the room, but it wasn't too bad of a problem to work around. I didn't like the policy of not accepting credit cards as payment of the lodging.

The family friendly manager and his desire to make my stay comfortable. I like that the manager and his family lived on the premises and was very delightful to talk with as well as his wife. I like having a key that I could get into and out of the hotel main entrance at my convenience. This is not a luxury hotel, but fits my needs as a good hotel for my family and myself. The quietness at night was a welcome since I do not readily choose hotels that have noise entering at night. I prize a good night sleep.

It was a quiet location, they have private car parking for 4 cars. The owner Don Jorge is extremely nice and friendly including his wife, they will go out of their way for you. You're 5 minute walking distance to the Merced Church and 4 minutes to the local market, 8 to 10 minutes to the central park.

Wifi wasn't the strongest but was adequate for normal use.

Staff was so nice every time we interacted; they want you to have a great stay and love to have conversations. The location makes it a roughly 5-10 minute walk to most things in the center of the city; that can be nice if you want it to be a little quieter. Small but cozy rooms.
