No security lockers. Also the toilets and showers where not the best but you get what you pay for.

Nice big beds with lamps, outlets and curtain. High ceilings so you could easily sit up in bed.

My bunk had a window directly into one of the common areas. The light and noise made it difficult to relax, particularly when they begin cleaning there before six a.m.

Overall the equipment is out dated. 3 bathrooms and only 1 can be used; 3 toilets and only one can be used as well. The sink is old and rusty. They can do better. Also the stuff attitude is indifferent. I have issue with my transportation and the communication with them was just a disaster

The staff has been horrible and mainly the manager. We booked a tour with them for the Volcano when my friend stayed at the hotel and when we arrived for the tour they just didn’t book it for us. She booked it at the reception and the lady confirmed it would be booked but somehow they messed it up. Instead of apologising and trying to find a solution they acted unprofessional and were really rude to us. We ended canceling the 2nd night with them and went for another hostel where they were much nicer and professional. On top of that there were no toilet papers in the morning and barely any soap in the shower. I don’t recommend this place at all.

This place is a real gem. Everything that a traveler need is provided - extremely clean, comfy beds with private space, nice common area, convenient location hot showers, security and above all awesome staff always with a smile and ready to help whatever your request is. Would love some day to come back fir a long period. Absolutely recommended.

I stayed in the 4 bed dormitory and really liked the privacy of the capsule around the bed with lights and electrical outlets. There was also a large shelf for each guest to store larger items. Location was perfect with ATM, restaurants, market and bus station. The staff were very kind and helpful and very conscientious about cleaning.

Very nice staff, helping me to get from the airport to the hostel. They answer really quick and are very friendly! The place is nice, I liked that I had my own bed with a curtain for more privacy:)

The only thing for me was that being in the upstairs apartment meant the noise of the street carried a little over the rooftops but that's not really something the hostel can do anything about. They were great

The staff were so helpful, I was upgraded to my own private room and bathroom as it wasn't being used and I was a solo traveller so that was super nice! I could see acatenago from my little porch! They looked after my luggage whilst I hiked acatenago, and then I was able to have a shower and do some laundry for a small fee. They made sure I had my laundry on time for my shuttle and despite not speaking the same language I felt very much at home there because of how helpful they were.

Avoid - theft problems When I arrived I met a couple in tears who'd had all their valuables stolen. Sadly, this hostel has the worst security out of any place I've ever stayed. It's in the middle of the busy city centre, and has two large open entrances (front and back) to the busy streets with no-one attending most of the time. Anyone can just walk inside off the street unnoticed. There are no locks on any of the dorms /bedrooms, zero lockers, and no luggage storage. Everyone's suitcase is openly lying unattended, in plain visibility to the busy outside street. Any passer by in the city centre can pick up a suitcase and walk off. I changed hostel quickly. I heard multiple people throughout Antigua mention this hostel as one to avoid - apparently this hostel is known for security problems / robberies. The staff obviously know, but just don't care. Why don't any of the rooms have locks and keys? Why no lockers? A few days later, when I returned to Antigua from the Acatenango hike, I heard a girl in my group returned to this hostel to find her suitcase with all her belongings missing

The was no one at the reception when my friend and I arrived at midnight. We called twice with the number provided on the door with no response. We were fortunate that a guest heard us knocking and opened the door. My friend was afraid to leave the place again the following night.

Beds are capsule-style and very comfortable. I stayed in rooms 103 & 104, both 4 bed dorms, and they were great. A little noise from the street, but still I slept all. The staff is friendly and helpful. The kitchen is small, but usable. Location is perfect. Minutes away from the main square or the huge central market. I stayed here two separate times and enjoyed both. Highly recommend.

There are no events planned with the hostel, the showers were always cold for me and the rooms are very small, with no lockers so no space to put your bags away which is not super safe and gets messy. Also there is no terrace or outside common space so not the best to chill but also not very social.

The beds are new and very comfortable! And the staff is very nice
