The windows and door were left open so there was dirt everywhere. The bedding had obviously not been changed because there was hair all over and stains. We left a night early because we felt so gross.

The bed!!! Very comfortable and the owner was very helpful and attentive. I appreciated that she went to tell the neighbor-guests who were talking loudly in the middle of the night. Besides the time, it was only noise issue I had during my one week stay.

The staff was not friendly. I saw in earlier reviews that you can use the kitchen. We wanted to only make coffee and the women responsible didn't allow us to use the kitchen. The size of the room was bad also.

The room was quite noisy. Mine was right next to the street so there was an almost constant sound of traffic, dogs barking and children playing - nothing against children! (-: I overestimated the quality of the hotel based on previous reviews. It's a good place to stay if you're on a budget, but I wish I'd spent a little more for something more central and with a larger room.

It is very loud when you want to sleep. The rooms are all around a courtyard so people/children are there. My room also had a window into a street which had noise. The dogs bark

Walls & ceilings stained with mold, bathroom was so tiny door could't open properly (it hit the sink), the toilet was stained yellow, the tiled walls in bathroom were dirty, the shower had a hole in the wall, the sink was leaking, there were ants in the room, and when I went to make coffee in the morning the kitchen was full of dirty dishes & garbage. And it was very noisy (kids yelling, dogs downstairs barking, booming music from nearby bar till past midnight).

The staff were friendly, the location central, and the price was cheap.

A little noisy if you have noisy neighbors. Walls are not well insulated. Music from nearby bars can be heard sometimes but not much. It is at the opposite side of the lake Atitlán. No view.

For a solo female traveler, since property is run by a family who lives on site, I felt safe and secure. Great value for the money. Location is close to Santander Avenue and safe to walk around.

The parking space was almost impossible to get to, extremely narrow street to drive to which would have been impossible to do alone. The toilet was very dirty and there were ants coming out of the bathroom cabinet which was locked so we could locate the source for the ants. Electric showers are in general a weird thing, but this one had wires not connected to anything so was quite fishy. They do not have a vent or ac so it can get quite hot.

The location was very good, walking distance to the city centre. The owner was really nice and friendly.

The room needed some paint and the bathroom modernising. This hostel is a very old building and there were a lot of marks on the walls and mould in the bathroom. I would recommend this hostel just for one night

The location is great. 5 minute walk to the bars and restaurants in Panajachel. The staff are very friendly. This small family run hostel has very helpful staff.

Everything was fine hard to get in with a car but it’s fine manageable everything was fine.

Property was pleasant and clean and owner is very friendly and let us park our car earlier time than check in and place is pleasant very close to the lake walking distance and I would stay there again when I come to Panajachel.
