The headboards were just pieces of plywood with holes cut in them for the outlets with extension cords running along the back to plug in the lamps. If you only need a place to lay your head for a night, it works. There were two towels for three people. The only soap supplied was in a dispenser in the shower.—nohand towels. They get you with pics of the better rooms, what you get is nowhere near what is shown.

The only thing that is lacking is a kitchen I think but then this hostel would be crazy good! (They let me use the microwave at the reception to heat up some water though!)

Absolutely loved this place! I was staying in a 6 person dorm, everything was so clean, modern, very convenient. The rooftop is really nice with a perfect view over the volcanoes! The people working in that hostel is very nice, very caring, I felt very welcome and comfortable. The location is simply perfect, very very centred with every commodities around it. The value for money for me was unbeatable!

This place is very central, easy to find and to walk everywhere. I loved the colourful decor and how big the space actually was. The doorms are spacious, with lockers and fans, and individual sockets and lamps. I also appreciated the dark rooms, which made me have some good long rests. It is a quiet hotel with a silence curfew at 10pm. The place also has an amazing terrace to hang out and take in the views of Antigua. I also found the WiFi to be working extremely well in all parts of the hotel. They even have a co-working space. I really appreciated the cleaniness of this place, whith daily thorough cleaning of all spaces and toilets. It is such a great hotel for backpackers on a budget that I actually extended my stay by a few days.

Room looked nothing like it did online. No secure locks on door or window. No sound proofing on walls. Room looked trashy. Do not recommend. Rented room for 2 nights, couldn’t sleep first night. Checked our first thing in the morning. Couldn’t stay a moment longer.

Super affordable property with a great location and good aesthetics! Beds were super comfy and the hostel was quiet in the evenings. Staff spoke limited English but were always very happy to help and interpret our terrible Spanish ! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer !!

There was no water for most of my time at the hostel. I wasn’t made aware of this by the staff, only from a man yelling. When I asked for a towel (that you rent for a fee) I was told because of the water being off weren’t available. Also, if you are a late night social scene person, you have to knock on the door at night and I felt like I was inconveniencing security.

It is a beautiful, small, quaint hostel and the view from the roof is beautiful. Security is great.

Staff could be friendlier. They have a plaque in the reception saying something like ‘be nice and always say hello’.. Well when I arrived I said hello the receptionist didn’t even reply to my greeting, they just gave me a miserable look and did me a huge favour that they checked me in.

Bathrooms need updating and no AC in rooms. So I had to turn on fan and open windows but the open windows caused there to be no privacy as they face inwards to the other guest public space, which I do understand is the architecture of the properties, but perhaps a privacy curtain that still lets air in and out would be a nice touch.
