During my stay, the pool was rent for kids bday party, bedroom were small with backpackers on the floor with no space to walk, no lockers in th room and no curtains around bed without privacy.

Lovely hostel. Great amenities. HOT SHOWER. Great outdoor area with pool and volley ball net, bar. Dorm was fine, privacy curtains. Curfew at 11pm which was nice

Pool looks a little run down, was too cold to use when we were there but looks like it could do with a fresh coat of paint.

Great for a short stop over. Cheap private rooms. Lots of shared bathrooms and showers meaning one was always available. Great kitchen facilities and free drinking water.

Huge swimming pool with beds around it and a nice bar. The amount of guests is not very high; so you have more than enough room. Everything is at walking distance.

It's a hostel. As such its demographic is youthful travellers out to see the world and party. I'm pretty tolerant but when the party comes back to the hostel, loudly, around midnight and no one tries to quiet it down a line has been crossed. Despite this I still give it an 8.

A 10 minute walk to the central park. Close to restaurants and the cathedral of Hermano Pedro. The open space and patios in back are a big plus. There are two private rooms in addition to the dorm rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

In the dorms there was almost no area to put the personal stuff, no lockers.

Really nice location, one of the cleanest Hostels I‘ve seen so far, they clean several times a day. Cool pool area to chill out.

The prices at the bar were very high and the rooms cannot be locked which would make me a bit uneasy if I stayed there for longer than one night. The pool and bar closed super early at around 7pm.

The hostel is nicely located and has a very clean pool. The beds were comfortable and the place overall clean. Staff was very friendly.

This hostel was unexpectedly great! It had everything we needed and was a good price. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re a backpacker.

Rooms were warm at night.

Spacious hostel with a great communal area including a nice garden area with a pool. Social hostel but not too loud at night even though there is a bar. Staff were really friendly and the hostel was always clean. The rooms were good and bathrooms were also nice. Kitchen was well equipped with free coffee all day.

Separate prices for top and lower bunks, and on booking.com there is no way to know which you are reserving. We ended up as 3 people in a 6 bed dorm, and all 3 of us were at the top. There are lots of mosquitoes - I was fully covered in bites within 5 minutes of arrival. Bug repellent did the trick, so make sure to bring. Note that the hostel did leave us a zapper in the room, so by night time we had closed the windows and door and gotten rid of the problem in our room.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful (I don’t think I met a single one who wasn’t at this hostel), soap and hot water in showers, shared kitchen. They sometimes host activities, i.e. they had a volleyball tournement between hostels

Unfortunately there were many mosquitoes and I got several bites despite using insect repellent. Also, it would be nice that some of the staff would speak more English, though they were all very kind and smiling.

I loved the decor in general, the position which is quite central, the free coffee offered in the morning and the outside area.

I wished they had mosquito nets at the windows. A lot of mosquitos came in from the window through the flowers outside. I killed a lot but also got a loooot of mosquito bites.

Location is perfect! You can see Fuego incl eruptions and Acatenago from the garden if the view is clear. Short walk to the center. Stuff is friendly, everything is clean

The atmosphere was a bit off. Very little communal activities. We enjoyed it because we were travelling in a pair but I imagine it would be super hard to make friends here.

the only problem with this hostel is the bar in the pool area, it is not part of the hostel and they play their music so loud every day starting around 10am , everything else in this hostel is amazing

Great showers, nice kitchen, coffee in the morning, the staff is super nice, laundry service, clean, you can leave your stuff there while hiking Acatenango, great garden and pool area

The cheaper dorms don’t have a locker so you can’t lock your valuables or bag away during the day. The kitchen is pretty small and the stove tops are pretty weak

Staff were super friendly and helpful, laundry done on site, you can leave your belongings at the hostel while doing the volcano hike with light booking another night, there’s a big pool and showers were hot and decent pressure.

The tent we rented was very suitable for two persons (and not one as booking says) but the inside of the tent is FULL of mold. I don’t understand why they won’t clean this a bit because I don’t think it’s very healthy.

The pool is a nice place to hangout. It can get a bit busy in the weekend with locals because it is shared with a public bar. The bed inside the tent is comfy.
